Did you book something right at 7 and then cancel and rebook at 7:17?

Just started reading about this - if you book at 7 canā€™t you book again at 9 regardless of when the first LL return time is?

No. You canā€™t book until 2 hours after park opening (the park you booked your first LL in even if thatā€™s not your 1st park) or when you tap into your first LL, whichever is earlier.

Ugh! Regular opening- not early entry?

Yes, sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

No, on HS days, I generally missed RotR at 7, but able to get a few minutes later. Once youā€™ve booked something, it canā€™t be changed.

For LL you can cancel and rebook though right? Iā€™m asking how risky it is to drop what you have and try to rebook immediately.

I was playing around this morning and noticed when I refreshed rides they went back and forth between 2 hours (smugglers run gave me a time in the 6:00 hour then a time in the 1:00 several times in a row, for example). Anyone know if that is typical? Iā€™ve been slowing reading this thread but havenā€™t made it through all the posts yet.

For LL you can, yes.

Yes, that will happen a lot between 7:00 and 7:10. Then sometime before or at 7:11, morning times will drop.

I havenā€™t used genie plus yet, so this is a technical question. I have a group on my experience app which will be going on most rides together. When I click in book for a LL, it auto selects all people with a current ticket for the park that day, and then I hit confirm, correct? But we have a couple of kids that are too short for some rides. Is there a way I can remove them after I reserve? For hard to get reservations I donā€™t want to spend time unclicking them before I reserve.

Yes this is correct.

Yes, you can cancel a LL booked for any individuals in the party or for the whole party. It gives you the option to select who you are canceling for. Note that you can NOT cancel ILL purchases.

Thank you! That is excellent news! But what about individual lightning lanes? Like for ROR, can I cancel them, or must I unselect first?

For ILL, you have to select the correct party members when purchasing. You can NOT cancel after the fact. If you wait until the 7:17am drop, you shouldnā€™t have any trouble getting the time you want and have a few seconds to unselect the party members who are not riding with you.

Question about rider switch- does the waiting adult have to ride in the second group? Or could we swap them out for another person (or older kid), by scanning their ticket card? Iā€™m not sure the non riding adult will actually want to ride, but Iā€™m sure others would like to repeat.

The waiting adult can give their MB / admission to someone else who wants to ride twice. So you could basically have two repeat riders while one adult waits with non-riding children.
