Car Service Reviews 2023

Hi All,

It’s been a few months since the last thread on car services that I can find. Would anyone be able to share recent experiences with a car service in Orlando – which one you used, cost, feedback, etc.?

(No need to cover rideshare, car rentals, or Mears / Sunshine Flyer in this thread.)

Kickstarting with vendors I’ve found searching the forum (I can update this list as people respond below):

Florida Towncar was very, very nice people, cheaper than the others we have used but after using Tiffany’s and Happy, the other members of my family only talk about how old the car was (clean, but old).

We have had good luck with Happy Limo, but tried others due to the cost. But always a positive experience.

We’ve had a mixed bag with Tiffany’s. Had some really good experiences and a couple where the driver drove like a bat out of hell. I’ve actually shifted back to the more expensive Happy as a result.

I thought your car was broken

Thankfully not today! I have had to take my car in for repairs three times this year so far – two windshields and one fuel sensor.

Thanks! This is helpful to hear from someone who has used multiple services for comparison.

Would you like to provide any reviews on the car service you received in those events?

SafePro auto glass was great! :joy: All I want to know is, does any glass repair shop actually repair cracks or do they all tell you to replace your windshield? Seems shady.

I have used Happy Limo in the past. It was great service and a newer car. It was also significantly more than Florida Towncar (very old cars).

I think Tony Hinds is another company (now retired).

Ok - the way it was talked about seemed like it was the same thing. I’ll separate it out.

I agree about Florida Towncar being an awesome service. The Towncar was older, but I didn’t care. My return trip was a newer car. They were so much help. They pick up from several different locations such as Sanford airport, MCO, train station…

I’m using Cast & Crew at the end of April.

I used Tiffany and it was fantastic. Great communication and easy. Not sure cost. It was about the same as all of them. I will def use them again.

@Jeff_AZ , do rates matter to you or this thread? Do you want to collect and post that too? For example, Florida Towncar is $115 roundtrip (stops extra) cash only.

Thanks! I will make note of rates if any are called out. I’ll add that one to Florida town car.

We Drive You Fly have a website now.

I don’t know current rates - it looks like they have bigger cars, used to be a four person limit.

Can’t speak highly enough about the comapny, car and driver.

I have one right now, and wish I’d told them to replace the windshield instead of filling the crack. I can still see it, and it’s directly in my line of sight.

It may depend on where you live, but here they will generally only repair chips. Cracks probably affect the integrity too much to withstand our varied temps.

My glass company told me the chip had to be smaller than a nickel (edited-maybe it was a dime) I think? Mine was but I hold my breath every year for inspection because it could be an issue after repair. I wish I had it replaced.

My insurance always says “smaller than a dollar bill” but then the glass person says “2 inches.” And then they have to hash it out and the insurance says OK.

If it was something I noticed I would prefer replacement. But if it’s just a small chip or crack to the side, I’d prefer repair cause I’m mindful of the wasted materials and wear on my car of removing and reinstalling the windshield, plus my limit of two replacements per year.

We used Cast & Crew in August. They were awesome! It was $90 each way. (I just double-checked and now it’s $105 each way.) I believe the vehicles were Ford Expeditions. They advertised they had room for up to 6 people and offered car seats if needed. They had our flight info and knew our flight was arriving on time. The driver picked us up in the Express area, which was out of the way of everything. (It actually seemed like a secret exit.) We didn’t check any luggage, so we were on the road within 10-15 minutes of deplaning. Our driver was very personable, and we had a great conversation all the way until we were dropped off at the resort. He even played Disney music for us. We had an equally awesome return trip. I highly recommend them.
