I mean, maybe I heard it in the stores while I was shopping, but I had not heard of the name.
It’s a stupid name to be fair. And not a great song imo.

Wait what
I am 48 and pretty sure I still know all the words to MmmBop. How did you miss out on this song?
They were on the Masked Singer last year, still sounded the same!
Scott, you are killing it again today. Thanks so much for joining the Forum, you seriously make me laugh so much!
All the words to the song are in your sentence
Nah, there are some others I think. Or maybe it’s just mmm bop 200 times in a row. They were only like 12-14 years old, not yet at their best writing years.
That’s the NAME of a song?!
Ok. I’m willing to bet I’m not the only one who didn’t know that.
I was listening to Alan Jackson, Randy Travis, Mark Chestnut and Reba McEntire. It was very pop-like country, to be sure, but it was absolutely a different radio station and BMG catalog.
I hope you have an awesome time at WDW, so glad you are able to go. Enjoy Hanson!!
Yes, that is the name of the song. They were just kids!
I too listened to country back then in college. Still love it!
So much hate on Hanson
And to be fair - mmmbop did suck lol…but it is not indicative of the rest of their music.
I can’t hate them. I just learned about them today.
Google tells me I’d probably be good friends with Taylor and his wife though.
One might say that when it comes to how you avoided ever hearing it, it’s a secret no one knoooooooooows!
I think you’re alone now…
You know more than I do, then. I’ve heard the name, though.
Yep. Some of us missed that bandwagon, I guess.
Mmmmm bop
dip a dap a dooo wap
dee dee a ba doo wap
dip a dap a doooo
yeah eee yeah
I see no problem
These lyrics show artistic GENIUS
That’s a different gal
Nope.
Tiffany reference? Or Tommy Jones and the Shondells?
ETA: May have been Tommy James…
It would have to be Tiffany
Truth. Although that would be “we” and not “you”.
