I’m assuming means the kind that people wear on their belt at work that spool back? Regular lanyards are still ok?

They have neck ones that retract in the same way.

I’m a little surprised they would let any lanyard on. It could still fly off.

That’s too bad - this is what we use. I guess some have a slide clip and others are more like a carabiner. I can see the slide clips not working well.

But without a lanyard to carry your locker card - how do you get back in your locker?

I assume the greater danger is if they are not breakaway. :grimacing:

Don’t you use your face for the locker?

I honestly have only ever been on one locker ride!

Yeesh. That too.

No, it’s a barcode. At least at VC anyway.

I tuck my lanyard into my bra, and even then I’m always convinced during the ride that it’s a goner

Oh I think I heard about them moving in this direction. Anyone know?

The lockers at Epic are face lockers. When I was there last month, the lockers at the other two parks were still barcodes/ticket scans, etc.

At Epic you do but not the other two.

The one of us who lost our card was Ryan because he had his free in his pocket!

You’d think it would be fine in a pocket.
Those rides really shake you!!:laughing:

Ok well that tracks since I’ve only been to Epic!

Face is great until you want to send your DH to open the locker…

I never thought of that

Adding in since we were just there that yes the lockers in Epic are face recognition (which worked great for us) older parks still need a card. Our tickets were just on our phone but TM’s gave us paper cards for the lockers that we just put in a pocket. I enjoyed not needing a lanyard, they bug me :grimacing:

I forgot, this is what they did at RRR in the past. Although at Hulk, you will have to go to the entrance first, then go to the lockers, then return?

I hate lanyards! I’m glad I’m not alone. That’s why we always used the clip on retractable ones (and just got credit cars holders for our phones for the cruise).

Nope, there was a TM handing out cards there as well.

Thanks! Did they say no lanyards at all or was that for phones?

Hmmm sorry I didn’t really pay attention because we didn’t have them. Our tickets were all on our phones so we were just figuring out how that worked since our last visit we had paper tickets.
