You’re a passholder right and can buy single day tickets? I read up to six but can you buy them for other people? Meaning if I were to buy an AP for myself could I then buy park passes for my family or do they all have to be used by the passholder? My mother in law is retired military so I know she can buy single passes too but from what I can recall by our Disneyland trip she has to be with us when we first use them.

They must already be APs themselves and linked to your account. You can’t buy single tickets for non-APs

I’m not normally interested in the Sippers mainly because I like my soda and they don’t seem to hold much. I guess they are really mainly for display or kids. But the liquid being in an air tank is just so stinking cute! Plus, I like scuba diving. I’m seriously tempted to get one.

So, I’ve been playing with the new 2.0 for the past couple of days. Old wands definitely work at the new spots…there are just additional spells you may not be able to unlock in those locations.
The new wand adventures are fun! Busy spring break crowd, so lines even to do those…but I enjoyed it. They had lots of team members out helping people through the new features.

Are you able to pair more than one wand to a phone? That is - my kids don’t have phones but they are definitely going to want wands (as am I!). Can we pair them all to my phone/app? Or will that make life more difficult than I want it to be?

What do the haptics feel like? Do you get a vibration “confirmation” that you did the spell correctly? Is it a continuous vibration as you do the spell? I’m really curious how the new wands improve spell accuracy!

Definitely. There’s a line right in the profile settings to add another wizard to a device. I’m not sure how easy it is switching between profiles to manage adventures, but I would imagine it isn’t too terrible!

You do get a vibration when you do the spell correctly. The lights are constant (much better in Knockturn Alley…or at night, I presume), but the vibration only happens with the correct spell. You can
Turn them off in settings, but I don’t know why you would.
I have never used a Gen 1 wand, so I don’t know the differences, but a team member was telling me they tend to instruct the wand users differently as the windows handle each wand a little bit differently.

That’s what I had assumed. There are a few windows where the effect is subtle. I’ve often stood there questioning, “Did I get it??” With a vibration I’ll know for sure!

Helios will not include express passes. What’s up with that?

We’ve done some speculation on the forum in the past regarding why that would be. Apparently when Loew’s signed their initial contract with UOR for the other three premier hotels, they included a stipulation that EP must be included for the IoA and US. Apparently UOR has learned their lesson and didn’t include such a stipulation in the Helios hotel contract.
The reason for this may be that they want to limit the amount of EP to keep the lines from getting out of hand, particularly in the first year of operation. It’s possible they will add EP as a perk later, but maybe they won’t if they decide it’s better to have more control over the perk. Maybe early entry and proximity is enough of a lure for Helios.

It was for me. It was also $450/night versus $750 for RPR with Express unlimited park hopper passes themselves for around $200 a day and we have multiple rooms so not getting a lot of value per person based on that $750.

Yup, that’s what my research has proven. Here’s an article from November 22, 2000 talking about Portofino getting Express and it coming at the soon to open Hard Rock (this was before Royal Pacific was announced.)

Epic universe express passes are now available. The price starts at 129.99. They do not have unlimited out yet.

Looks like it. I’d be tempted to buy a 1 day express pass to make sure I did everything on a trip where I’d be doing all parks in a week.
