I think we are going to wait until AP’s work at Epic. Our ideal time would be Feb 2026 and even with that date I’m not holding my breath. There is always a chance that we just-can’t-stand-it-anymore and go without AP’s.

I’m waiting for the day that i can upgrade my 2 APs to include Epic. I bought them over a year a go now, (one for me, one for DH) and they are sitting untouched in my account.
I got them during a 15 month deal, so I really want to wait to use them.

I had given serious thought to doing that. I wasn’t entirely sure how they will do the upgrade. I thought there was a chance they’d just credit the amount spent on the unused AP. True, it will probably be a flat X dollars to add Epic.
If they do a credit, I hope it’s for the current worth of the path, not what I spent on it.
Will old wands work at the new spell locations?

Agree, I would like a 2nd day in Epic and am desperately waiting for them release single day tickets so I can add that cuz I’m certainly not buying two 3 day passes with more than 2 days at IOA and USF which I’ve done almost everything in except maybe try some snacks and I still haven’t found the darn Jaws reference in the record store window…no hints, I’m gonna find it eventually.

I haven’t heard for certain or not. I’m guessing that they will work at “most” of them. I say that because some of the spots definitely need 2.0 and the App to make an effect like your personal Patronus to occur

Yeah…the silver & black 2.0 wand is similar to what I already have and would be my choice. However, it has ALOT of sentimental value. I hate replacing it. I have named it & everything!

My mom kept hers on a mantle. No judgment.
Also I think I like that silver one best myself at least in photos but sometimes they look very different in person.

You have to come up with your Wizard Name, which I am finding very difficult…also there’s a lack of patronus options in my opinion.

There isn’t a way to bypass, you have to have a wand!
I just mean the actual coming up with a name is difficult - the rest of the setup seems pretty easy.

We changed our December trip from a split WDW/UOR because of lack of options at UOR. We have 3 days off at Memorial day 2026, so I am hoping that works better for going to Epic.

My kids made the call that we will skip Epic in October and wait until next year. We’ll stay at WDW other than a day at VB.

Same here. I had been saving BCV points for this trip and both Ryan and Maggie said - let’s just do Disney.
I am interested in Volcano Bay but will probably save that for May.

We are getting close to making this same decision for our fall trip this year. Though if single day tix and express passes are announced as available, we may change our minds and do a day at Epic.

I think a lot of us are starting to get cold feet about fall Epic trips. I understand the ticket rollout is to control attendance. However, I wonder if that will backfire by Labor Day if single tickets with limits are still the standard?
