Right. But they knocked CBBR down to Endless Summer status, and moved SN and TL up…it makes no sense.

IMHO - It’s just marketing…that’s all…

In what I’ve seen of SN/TL on the most recent UOR YT videos they are going to have that “upscale business traveler” look that Aventura has. Whereas CBBR “looks” more economical due to the theme of being a hotel from the 1950’s - 1960’s with family elements

How can this be unless SF gets Express Pass?

Over in the Epic thread we are discussing how only those 3 hotels are required to offer UXP

It’s a mile to walk from CBBR to the parks, I don’t think the two sister hotels are any farther. Walking paths are planned.

Yes. You can walk to the parks from any of the hotels if you are willing to do it.  :shark: :shark:

My interpretation of the original post is that it’s as easy to get there as Helios or USF from HRH…

That’s actually something I wondered about Endless Summer for a while.
On our 2022 trip, we hired a car from not-Avis and had to drop it back off at the Holiday Inn over the road. It was a really easy walk back into City Walk.
I’ve often wondered where Endless Summer is in relation to that path.

Okay. That’s cool. Definitely can see that being more attractive to guests than Endless Summer.

It’s 1.5 miles… You have to take the public sidewalks. I just want to be “right”!!    :shark: :shark:

I suppose we can call it “walkable” if it is consistently faster to walk it than to take transportation? That might not be a hard fast rule…but seems okay.

On the other hand…we would say Poly is walkable to MK, even though the monorail is clearly faster. So … Uh …

Squirrel!

That’s a decent rule.
But the feeling of safety on the route ought to be a factor too.
The garden path is so nice to walk on, but honestly I could do without crossing that minor road junction between RPR and CBBR.
Walking from across the highway is perfectly safe, but I don’t enjoy the road level bits.
Whereas walking from RPR, HRH and PB are completely traffic free. I like that.

Good point.

I hope y’all know I was just being silly about walking from Endless Summer! You really shouldn’t try to cross I-Drive!

I’ve walked over to the Walgreens area before and it’s extremely busy

I couldn’t tell from the photo you posted earlier where the Holiday Inn was, but there are pedestrian crossing points on the route back from there, so it is possible.

No, they created a new Inns and Suites level and just got rid of Value.

Always been Prime Value.

My thought was the opposite … I was thinking this is Step 1 in eliminating EPs for the 3 Lowes resorts. Does anyone know if there is an expiration date for the EP requirement in the contract with the Lowes resorts?

Can I ask if Grinchmas breakfast bookings are announced or dropped, can someone please tag me? I will only have one possible morning to get it and I have email alerts from the forum set up. Thanks, be well!

Just dropped with no notice. Around 7am I believe. Last year, @darkmite2 had a source and got word the night before.

I’m guessing this could happen on October 2nd or 3rd or 9th or 10th.

Thanks! If anyone remembers, I would appreciate a tag when the news drops and it is posted here.

Speaking of Grinchmas…if I do the VIP Holiday Tour, is the Grinchmas Breakfast redundant?
