Thank you kindly!

Not a lot but small smidgy bits here and there are working out to big overall discounts!

Late night changed FTW!

Wow, so I never thought I would be able to beat the $84 return flight but it just dropped to $54! 3200 points.

October flight to LAX went down $60! Used that savings to book return flight for partners girls trip in November to MCO, where that flight went down $67. Thank you all for the heads up!!

Looks like it’s a 40% off code.

Use promotion code 40OFF from 6/13-6/15/2023 for travel on select flights from 8/15-12/14/23. Travel is blacked out 11/16-11/27/23. Restrictions and exclusions apply. Seats and days limited. Discount is applied before government taxes and fees.

This tip sounded too good to be true, but I just got about $70 worth of flight credits just by re-booking existing flights. I didn’t make any changes, just booked the exact same flight. I cannot thank you enough for sharing this!

I have been doing so much the last 12-14 hours because of the drops in flights, buckle up.

  1. We saw our trip down to LAX in October went down $65. I re-booked for the 6 of us. That gave me $390 in credits but it was only for each person.
  2. My wife is planning on going down in November for a girl’s trip with my daughter in Mother in Law. We saw those flights were on sale for $116 (from $183). So we decided to book those.
  3. We used the $65 credits for my wife and daughter we had gotten earlier and then some credits that all 3 got from their Girl’s trip last year. Ended up only paying $144.
  4. On my end, I had $140 in the form of 3 different credits. They were non-transferrable though. So I woke up and had an idea. I booked a one way placeholder flight that cost $139 with my credits but did the transferable fare. I then canceled that flight and had 1 credit for $139 that was transferable!
  5. Since this worked, I canceled my original flight down to LAX for the 6 of us, re-booked with the transferable fare (extra cost covered with credits from earlier) and then canceled and everyone got a transferable flight credit.
  6. I then re-booked this flight but used the remaining of the $65 non transferable flight credit before paying for the rest with the transferable flight credit.
  7. I then transferred the flight credits to my wife, mother in law and daughter and we booked their flights down to Orlando for their girl’s trip.
  8. So all in all, we were able to get their 3 round-trips tickets that were $900 ($300 each) down to a total of $270 ($90 each) just with credits we accumulated by re-booking trips when a discount popped up.

Bottom line - it’s worth checking once before bed and once in the morning!

I’ve talked myself in and out of a Universal/Disney trip this fall and the 40% fares sale made me do it! I just got 3 roundtrip tickets oct 21-oct 27 from OKC to Orlando (non-stop flights) for around $630 bucks! I’m in shock! lol. So now I need to actually book the important things like hotels, park days LOL

So you saved $630?!?

Yep! It was the accumulation of credits from flight price decreases over the last 12 months.

I haven’t taken the time to figure out dollars saved but I literally got back more than 25K points AND well over $100 in flight credits in the last month-ish alone.

They have been having some really good deals lately. When we booked, thought i was getting a good deal at $180 and had two separate flights drop $60+. Making it disappointing when the price doesn’t change when i check

Jealous of all of the sale fares! Of course my flight is over Christmas so… not expecting much of a discount.

Same! Based on fares for the past couple of years I was “satisfied” with that.

Needless to say I’m even more satisfied

Still waiting for any kind of price drop for my January dates. I haven’t booked yet because I’m hoping to save some cash instead of booking, re-booking, and then getting credits…
