Our experience driving to AK and RD'ing FoP x 2

We drove to AK last week on Tues Feb 9 (CL 1) and again on Sat Feb 13 (CL 3). On Tuesday we arrived to the booths at 7:13 and had about 30 cars in front of us. They let us thru toll booths at 7:22, we parked and basically walked straight thru with no lines all the way to FoP. Started walking thru the queue at 7:36 and made it to the pre-film at 7:49. Got back in line a second time at 8:05 and waited 27 min for the second ride, which was higher than I was expecting based on the TP estimate of …

HS opening/transport

Continuing the group of opening reports, on 2/10 we walked over from YC, left 7:45 and arrived to health screen line at 8:05 near the front. They opened screen at 8:13 and there was no further hold at taps. We were off MMRR at 8:33, off SDD at 8:53 and off TSMM at 9:09. On our next trip we will not be staying within walking distance. Does anyone have recent info on taking the bus to HS for rope drop? Is it possible to get there in time via bus or is it necessary to Uber to Swan? We will b…

Here is what we experienced 2/14 being one of the first through tapstyles when they opened. We had a similar mindset to yours, not using a touring plan per se but just generally trying to hit long-queue attractions:
Bus area health screen began 8:06
Taps opened 8:11
8:30 off 7D
Off SM 8:48
Off BTMRR 9:15
Off pirates 9:35
All of these 4 were near-walk-on when we got to them. After pirates, all lines had built up. Notably, Peter Pan had not opened early that day so we caught it later.
On 2/12 we went straight to Frontierland at opening. BTMRR started letting people through/running at 8:34.
Splash did not open prior to 9:00 either day.
