As for the onsite or offsite discrepancy— Disney needed to add back some perks/ value for staying on site. I’m hoping they bring back some more perks. I do wish they gave people more notice so you could change your hotel if you wanted to. I can see that disappointment.

I understand this is new and people dont understand how it works yet. But this new system is the absolute WORST case scenario for what they could have done
But broken down in its simplest form:
Disney is now charging you for Tier 2 rides vs Tier 1 rides…I dont care how you look at it, thats a negative
Genie+ = You paid and got 5+ Tier 1 rides and then booked Tier 2
New System = You now get 1 Tier 1 ride and 2 Tier 2

Its a SCAM and people cant see it for some reason
I am holding out hope for one of these strategies to work. 
So people who like it just don’t understand how it works because it’s new, but you do understand exactly how it’s going to work despite it still being new and not even starting for a month?
There will be loopholes and ways to maximise the use. Liners will make it work for them. But we can’t know exactly how till it’s operating and people test scenarios.

This is actually Neutral at best, possibly a negative…you realize that right?
If you could pre book your first ride and select its return time, thus eliminating the 7am wake AND getting to pick return time, thats a positive
Having to pre select Tier 2 rides is a negative. You could get Tier 2 while in the park and do it while touring. While pre selecting, you are tied to those selections. With Genie, you could just pick whatever ride was closest to you

Can anyone tell me, with the new LL system, do you pay for your (Multi-pass?) after you select your rides or before? I think it’s after now, which solves the issue of buying it for DHS and DAK when nothing is really available. I feel like this is will severly reduce sales after the 7 day mark. If you can only book Finding Nemo, Kali River, and Lion King, I’m not paying $30.

Did you use FP+? Do you remember why it was so bad?

These changes have been speculated for months…If you go to a park and compare what you actually get under Genie+ and then see what you would get under this new system, you will see what i mean

For you…maybe, for those who go at RD and what to maximize the pass and the day, this is not too bad. A book and burn strategy early could set me up nicely by lunch, enjoy a pool in the afternoon and set up my return in the evening prior to leaving at lunch.
For example:
I book TBA as a tier 1 and Dumbo and Ariel as throw away T2. - ILL Tron for around lunch
Rope drop with 30 min early entry, hit 7DMT
Burn Dumbo - Book BTMRR
Burn Ariel - Book Space
I now have a TBA, BTMRR, SM, and Tron late morning/early afternoon stack. Hit all, get lunch, as I use the 3 MPLL, book 3 more for evening.
Sounds doable if Same day availability is decent and gives us morning people a similar stacking took to what you are complaining is missing. I get it, you liked the afternoon arrival and evening stack plan. Sounds great too…and for that SINGLE case, yup, big step back. But to say this is the worst case for all and there is not a single good thing other than no 7 am…well not buying that. I think this is a very beatable system with a lot of advantages for the full day user. While I am not excited to have to uber plan my August trip, i am excited that this is a system that appears we can maximize.
So evening stack dead…morning/mid day stack, I think could be big with this system.

This new system gets users to not only ride Tier 2 rides vs Tier 1 like you could under Genie+, Its also making you PAY for those Tier 2 rides…
How do people not see this?
