We thought so.
Ladies had homemade crowns and boys had Chevrolet. DH worked at GM then.
From GM members lounge.
That was our signature trip. The one I will remember at the classic family trip. There have been others and should be more. But this was spectacular compared to normal.

I have a 2016 memory too that is my favorite. The interactions with characters are the big thing we are going to miss on our next trip. My DD3 truly felt like a princess this day. She loved that all the CM’s called her princess all week.

I recall discussing that on the forums. DW and I had taken DS (then 13 months old) the prior fall and I remember encouraging you to go!
I had to convince DW for our fall 2019 WDW trip … she wanted to skip a year … we are both glad I persuaded her now that we have skipped a year (hopefully not more) due to Covid.

Sometimes the pictures that don’t turn out perfectly are just as memorable. Here are a few that I still laugh at.
“Who is this person in a dress and why do I have to take a picture with her?” (2012)
“There. I’m posing. Are you happy now?” (2013)
“Mom! Another picture? Really??” (2013)
Two of us were clearly more excited to meet Darth than the other two. (2016)
My nephew really got into the Magic Shots and the ride photos. He cracks me up. (2020)

Ok. I’ve been in work h-e-double hockey sticks for two days so this was a fun thread to wind down into the weekend. Here are a few of my faves:
The first day of the first trip with our complete family. Jungle Cruise Selfie. Love that DD (then just barely 4) did the open mouth pose without any prompting from us:
Just me and the kiddos. Doing a solo parent trip. Felt pretty darn proud of myself and had a blast with them.
And last, the one with dad. From my 30th birthday a long time ago now. What I wouldn’t give for one more trip there with him.

I remember that trip. In fact, I did a solo trip afterwards. I was at baggage claim, sulking over having to retrieve my luggage instead of it being delivered to the room. I said to myself - surely you can handle a few pieces of luggage when @eeeevah literally traveled alone with two littles.

Found another one from our 2017 trip to Disneyland…
… and this is dd and I in the apartment above Pirates of the Caribbean during our Walk in Walt’s Footsteps tour We weren’t allowed to take photos, but the CM was allowed to use our phone for a picture in the living room.
The tour was awesome and the apartment mind blowing!!
I posted this in another thread today (which led me to trip across the above shots). Our meeting with the big cheese himself, Steamboat Willie.

DD4 (2.5 at the time) was all about Goofy on her first trip in 2019. Pretty much all the other meet-and-greet photos are her looking warily at the character, but afterwards she gushed about how happy she was to meet them all.
We used the Mickey shoot at Epcot to make our pregnancy announcement for DD1. As soon as the shot showed up in the app, we sent it out to all our siblings. I held the onesie up to show Mickey, and he gave me a huge hug and a kiss, then held it up for us.
But our favorite shot from that trip might be when we got sent the drop photo of our empty log from Splash Mountain after we got evacuated!
