In-park quick service breakfast?

I just remembered, when we were in Magic Kingdom a couple weeks ago, we got a breakfast sandwich at a little food cart in Frontierland (I think it is called Westward Ho), which is across from Pecos Bills, along the River area.

It wasn’t the best sandwich (the biscuit itself was kind of crumbly), but it had plenty of protein, and there was a very short line. We took it across the street and ate in Pecos Bills since it wasn’t open yet, so plenty of seating.

I have no idea what the candied bacon nor the doughnut holes are like.

The bacon is super thick and kind of chewy.
Deliciously seasoned though

There kind-of is now! They did a major, very overdue, and mostly helpful revamp of the reservation pages and process. You can now search over multiple days and multiple time blocks (morning before 12, 12-4, and after 4). Many places start serving lunch before 12, so you’ll see a mix of breakfast and lunch times, but they are grouped:

Any suggestions for getting food quickly at food court and then jumping in line for bus? Will we miss RD?

Yes, you’d be late for rope drop. Food courts usually don’t open until 7AM.

Where are you staying? In most WDW resorts food courts don’t open early enough to serve the RD crowd, but we were happy to learn that the Swolphin coffee shops (Fuel and Java) do, if thats near you or on your way.

CBR. MK EE at 8:30. Could we grab something to go and be at the bus stop at 7:15? Too late? Going to RD PP

I think that’s too late. You don’t have time to order, wait for food, get said food, and be at the bus. Plus, you are not supposed to eat on the bus.

Be in line for the bus by 7:00, rope drop PP and a couple other rides, then if you want a hot breakfast, grab something at Friar’s Nook for breakfast.

Came back to this thread to say we had breakfast at Friar’s nook. The pretzel bunneith sausage and eggs got the "I’d have that again from DD, the tots were excellent as were the donuts.

Yes! Agree to all that. That’s exactly what we got.

I think the pretzel bun holds up better than a buscuit while waiting. And it is very splitable!

I didn’t try one, but noticed that the Spring Roll cart outside of Adventureland has breakfast sandwiches.

ETA: tried it. It’s fine. A good grab-and-go option.

Oh interesting!

CBR has a grab & go location and I’m nearly certain it opens at 7am, but check to be sure.

You could, theoretically, do what you suggested but might be middle of the pack for rope drop.

Also, adding, I’ve got pictures of being at Old Port Royale at 7:25am. There was a bus waiting for us. We were through the taps, security and done with stroller rental by 8:05am.

We took some photos and then in line at 8:10-8:15am in Tomorrowland. EE started at 8:30. Here was our spot on a CL3 day. We were in our seats on Space Mountain at 8:47. It was worth it for me to not have too much waiting before the rope dropped as my children have a low tolerance for getting there early and waiting.

Wow. That looks crowded. I miss 2013 when we showed up for RD about 15 minutes early and were close enough to chat with the CM holding the rope.

Whoa! Really? What time did you notice them? Is it considered a faux pas to eat more than one meal in a day from the same tiny food cart?? :joy:

It was at the start of my tour, probably 8:45ish?

And no one will judge you. :joy:

I’m planning to try and get one tomorrow.

We had the breakfast bowl from the Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland right at the end of EE this past week. We really enjoyed it, but were also super hungry from our early arrival so we may not have been the best judges. :joy: The hot coffee was definitely great thought!
