This ain’t no $255/night, but I am of 2 minds on this price:
- Compared to all March historical prices: WIN
- For something that starts 3 days from now: Should be dozens of dollars lower.

I’m on the road to pick up DD at college so no details but, five night Bay lake Tower studio in May for $324 a night or 24% under median.

This is a very low volume room in dedicated APRIL data, so take the median with a grain of salt - but this is at the low end of the spectrum for that month. However - PLENTY of MUCH lower prices other times of the year.
So, is very much a personal call on value.

vs All Dates (you can see it is above median vs all dates!)

Based on the price by days out chart, I would expect to see NEAR ZERO more listings at or below this price between now and September, even when including all listings 2-nights or more.

This includes Labor Day weekend as well! I know it’s not a big Disney holiday but many get that extra day off.

4-night GF Studio 06/07 for $414/night or 15% under median
Only 3 of the listings at this price or lower in this chart that appeared <71 days out (where we are now) were 4-nights or longer. Rare, baby, rare from this point forward.

Took until the noon refresh for any new listings to appear today…
3-night Poly Studio 05/22 for $433/night or 15% under median
These are both “only” 6% under median vs all multi-nights in June & July, but 7-nighters are very rare at this price point. Last year there was one, 2024 there were 4 lower ones.
FWIW: I just checked the June dates, and this same AKK Studio would be $575/night after tax.

This is a HUGE price drop for an uncommon room in dedicated listings -
AND VERY LAST MINUTE.
AND A SAVANNAH VIEW.
I couldn’t find an open GV on the Disney site for this week to see their cash rate price, but from Mousesavers has the rack rate at $4,341 samolians.
7-night AK Kidani Grand Villa 04/04 orig $2,694/night now $1,054/n or 43% under median
There have only been 8 listings for this room in April since 2024, so the median may be a little squishy - BUT, this is clearly near the bottom of the price range for that month.
To have more comparison data points, here’s how it looks vs all dates - Seems to me a 7-night listing at that price level is a pretty terrific opportunity if you can use it.

I personally am not an $800/night room booker, but in context, this is a terrific price, especially for a full week. (Using the chart vs All Dates for more data points, since there aren’t that many for this room in any given month.)

Might be another good time for some search engine PRO TIPS!
If you’d just like to see the listings that changed in price recently: when you load my search engine, leave all of the search fields alone except for the Changed This Week? check box - then hit the Search button!
If you’d just like to see the newest listings from today, also ignore all the other fields (or hit the Clear Filters button if you’ve already run a search), put a 0 (zero) in the To: field of Days on Market and hit the Search button.
That will only show you listings that appeared today. You of course can use different numbers there - if you haven’t searched in 2 days and want to see all the new ones since then, enter a 2. LIKE A BOSS.
BTW: The Clear Search button will clear all of the filters - including the Active/Past filter which is defaulted to only show Active when you load the page.
These days, to keep the dataset smaller for a slightly faster page load, only the most recent past listings will be in the search engine. I prune those once a week or so. I do have an alternate search of all past listings out there, but it needs some configuration work so I haven’t published it yet.

Should have included this price drop before - is not a “cheap” room, but for Riviera prices is a terrific deal:
5-night Riviera 1 Bedroom 05/25 orig $920/night now $736/n or 14% under median
You can see looking at the All Date charts there are some other times in the year where you can catch lower Riv 1BR deals - but it is rarer in May. (Last year was only that singe krazy $400 listing below this price.)
Important to note: if you filter down this chart to just look at 5-nights or longer, most of those listings go away, including ALL of the May listings anywhere near this price point.
