8-night OKW Studio 05/02 for $219/night or 16% under median
Very good deal when looking at all multi-night listings, but as with other recent ones: once you get to 4 or 5-nights or longer you’ll see VERY few prices down at this level.
May is usually my preferred travel month. But we are doing a family vacation in the middle of June. (Rental house for 10.). I will be watching for early August and or mid December items myself.
There’s a fair chance we’ll see a listing or four more at or below this price as we get closer to June, but historically the majority of listings below median appear at 7 months out and shortly thereafter.
2-night Poly Studio 06/01 for $455/night or 13% under median
Looks like 8/30 is shaping up to be one of those starting dates with a bunch of listings.
Like a previous one, I’m posting here even though “only” 12% under median because it could be an an enticing rental for a longer stay.
But, remember the nuance here: My median is crunched based on calendar dates - because this one runs into September, I ran a 2nd chart with a start date of 9/1 and this price ends up OVER median.
That doesn’t make it “bad”, but I’d expect to see more lower prices with Sept start dates if you are flexible. Just know for long stays there likely won’t be many so you’d want to keep on top of watching to catch one quickly.
6-night Poly Studio 08/30 for $429/night or 12% under median
@JJT looks like DVC Resale Experts must opened up a new business venture related to renting DVC points and confirmed reservations; found this page here: Guest - Rent Reservation.
Nothing listed in the table yet, the domain was only registered a few months ago, and the site seems a bit unfinished, but worthwhile to keep an eye on it. They have an established base of DVC Owners contracted through them so I imagine that they wouldn’t have too much difficulty getting some reservations up in the coming months.
