Have another new terrific SSR 2BR in the refresh today!
All three of these new listings are very worthy.

6-night SSR 2 Bedroom 11/17 for $389/night or 47% under median

4-night BW Studio 07/07 for $319/night or 23% under

2-night BW Studio 08/17 for $286/night or 31% under

That’s 75%+ off rack rate. Excellent in its own right, but even more excellent that it’s a few weeks out and a 2 bedroom.

I really wish that SSR one on the 17th was a 1 Bedroom. Those are my exact trip dates, but I don’t need two bedrooms for one person

4-night HH 1 Bedroom 12/14 for $291/night or 55% under median

If Hilton Head in December is enticing to you - very, very unlikely to see a better price than this, especially for 4-nights.

Price Drop:

This one is a very low volume room in listings - only 14 listings in January, only 172 in total since 2023. Other time frames in previous years had lower prices - but that has really died out since 2023. This is not only the lowest January price recorded, but forget about 11-nights!

11-night BR 2 Bedroom 12/05 orig $993/night now $777/n or 13% under median

Goes without saying: this one will NOT last long!
1-night OKW Studio 01/05 for $140/night or 51% under median

vs All Dates:

6-night CC Studio 09/13 for $320/night or 19% under

Interestingly for the month of Sept specifically, this one is really just under median - and while we’ve seen a number of lower prices, they were mostly 2 years ago, and only a few 6-nighters. My overall take: pretty darn good for the location and length, even in one of the lowest price time frames.

Well I missed out. I saw earlier that the price had dropped by ~$300, was going to grab it, got distracted by work, then it was gone.

Not fair!

I’m sorry you missed it.

I’m hoping someone just mistakenly added a “1” to the front of the price they wanted to list for these.

$700 still seems expensive for Savannah View … I mean, maybe not compared to a cash room, but I expect a discount for DVC rentals due to the inability to cancel or modify.

Oh, I agree - but people do post Kidani studios all the way up to just under $800 in December, (albeit rarely and closer to the holidays) - and most of those are not Savannah!

So, at least $696 is in the realm of possibility.

Here’s what the “normal” Kidani studio December chart looks like:

Here it is again with 1-night listings included and this nutty one (which compresses the Y axis because it is so out of range):

My brain read this as, “Here’s what the “Konami” studio December chart looks like” and was very confused for a second. But also incredibly intrigued.

It’s been a long few days.

5-night Poly Studio 01/15 for $419/night or 20% under median

Comparing to all listings 2-nights or longer, looks like last year we had a nice batch of cheaper Poly studios in January… (get ready for the big but)…

When comparing to 5-nights or longer - FAR fewer listings down this low. This is a grab-ber now-er if you can use it.

3-night Riviera 1 Bedroom 02/08 for $768/night or 19% under

Not a cheap room by any means - but also a low volume and fairly unlikely to see anything lower appear - and if we do, it will be within a few weeks of check in.

Playing around with creating buttons for the new search engine site that I think will be a better visual for search results.

Had Gemini create some Active & Past buttons - and asked it to make the backgrounds outside of the button circle transparent. It gave me this:

Which looks good because transparent backgrounds have those checkerboards to show the transparent bits, right?

Except, what is going on here?

Guess what? The AI did not make them transparent - it just stuck in a checkerboard pattern to make them LOOK transparent. :fire: :robot: :fire:

I normally make these kinds of images and buttons myself, but figured I’d give the AI a shot.
Consider it shotted.
