Also, have not seen any 6-night or longer listings for this room in Sept any closer than 100 days out, as this one is.

The other two were 4-nighters and priced at $800/n and ~$1180/n.
So, this is kinda a big deal.
Looking at all dates for 2-nights or longer, there have been a few lower in other time frames, but this one is lowest price for 6-nights or longer.

While you might see a better price for this room, fairly unlikely since I’ve only recorded 15 total listings for this room in Feb since 2023 - AND if you are looking for a 5-night or longer, the only other listings were this price or higher.
Just checked direct cash price for this room: $1923/night after tax.

Not suggesting you add this data (which would probably double your data pulling requirements 
) but it would be interesting to see what the average % of direct cash is. 25% under median DVC rental price is pretty good, but ~40% under cash is the real reason people should be exploring rental as an option! (And buying resale points can be even more economical.)

Yes, that is often my stance - owners love to talk price per point, but as a non-owner much of the time I really care more about savings vs normal avenues.
You definitely want to make sure a dedicated rental isn’t going for something higher than you could get with a specific rental request, which does happen a lot and makes no sense. But even if it was, 40% under cash is a serious win.
I really wish Disney’s cash site room prices were easily scrape-able, but not within my current techniques.
Guess one could find the published rack rates and then apply any current discounts for the dates and assume that is close enough(?) Not sure, but I already probably refresh all this data and crunch the numbers too much already.

Exactly! I think it is incumbent upon the user to do their own math and see the savings for themselves. (Or ensure they’re not overpaying.)

Unusual Listing Price Drop:
12-night AK Jambo 1 Bedroom 08/11 orig $500/night now $479/n or 17% under median
Note - I ran an overall median calculation refresh recently after not doing so for awhile - they weren’t really changing much so I kind of let it go. Looks like the median for Jambo 1BRs really shifted, which I don’t really see much! But, is a lower volume room type, so guess that’s maths for you.
In reality: for August specifically, this price is right near median - but this is the sole 12-nighter, to think what you will.
