Yeah apparently it was over south Charlotte around 10am. Documented from one of the local weathermans backyard. Crazy. Heading towards our Army and Marine bases.
So I think it’s kinda hilarious that now that the balloon is over the Carolinas the news headlines are like “Gastonia Police warn citizens to not take pop shots at the balloon in an attempt to take it down”. There are tons from all different local government agencies in NC and SC saying that
They are prepping now to take it down. Honestly, they shouldn’t have allowed it to cross the U.S. but the argument is that it was dangerous to take down…
I’m watching it on Fox News. They are talking to different experts about what could be recovered and what it took to take it down. Not too much political talk/ arguments but I’m sure thats coming and then I’ll turn it off.
Oh, I’m with you. It shouldn’t have been allowed to enter. It should have been taken down. We had no idea what this thingis capable of. What if it is about more than just surveillance? We don’t even know the potential full ramifications of allowing it to cross the U.S. I’m just saying what the reported argument was to wait till it was over water again.
I wish they would update on the one over South America.
