So it is an extra $75 for one extra person?
There are $10 charges for grocery stop, car seats, or late pick ups . So for 4 people with a stop it is $125. That’s a big upcharge! Thanks!

Ah yeah, forgot we requested 1 booster seat too. So I guess it’s a $65 upcharge from the base price for 4 people for 5 people. Assuming this is due to a larger vehicle needed for 5 people + bags.

Forgive my ignorance, but is there a reason not to just use Uber or Lyft for this? I figured it was relatively short (but then we used Lyft for our Disney-Airport run last holiday)

The main reasons not to use rideshare:
- Need a car seat or booster (these are hard to get with most rideshares)
- party won’t fit in one rideshare vehicle
- want a premium experience with professional driver
- grocery stop
- confirmed pickup time rather than relying on luck
There are probably more reasons. Sometimes price of rideshare can be comparable to some car services.

I would add that some of these options (Gear Fusion and Florida Towncar) can be about the same price or less than ride shares (due to ride share surge pricing).
Example:$115-125 round trip. Your driver also meets you at luggage and transports it for you.

Yep, this. If I’m going to have to pay as much with ride share, or get two ride shares to fit us (and pay as much), then I’m better off scheduling a service so I know I’ll have a car we can all fit, and we won’t have to wait on if someone decides to pick us up or not.

We just got dropped off at the airport for our flight home. We used Gear Fusion. Everything went smoothly, and I would use them again. I think it was $130 for the 4 of us. The SUV looked new, and the driver was friendly. No issues at all.

We used Gear Fusion last week. Everything went great, we had to move our flight to a day earlier and they accommodated us with no issues. Got a text when we landed from the driver and received one the day before leaving to confirm pickup. $130 round trip.

Update. We are using Gear Fusion again for our Feb 2024 trip and the Round Trip price has escalated to $190.(3 adults. 1 kid ) asked for a full size SUV. But…. Still using them. Trust them implicitly with my crew!

Thank you for your insight. Todd himself has never personally picked up my family. I see that this is your first time posting on the forum and I’m going to take that into consideration as it might be a personal vendetta. And it might not. I never, not one time felt scared or in harms way with the wonderful ladies that escorted my family to and from the airport. All we can do is pray for peace and hope they have the Lord guiding them.

Jeff. 1000%. He literally joined 5 hours ago. And it’s pretty clear his intent is to bash them. The Touring Plans Community is not the place for that type of rhetoric. I hope that @Mikkeylvr558 can take his baseless tactics on down the road. There a plenty of people who have had wonderful experiences and will continue to have them with Gear Fusion.

It’s important because this is a community and we build trust with each other so we can rely on what others say. You can imagine that someone could hire people to go on the internet and bad mouth their competition.
