Most of those prices are still awful, but they’ve at least some down enough that I might try it. Might.

Edit: from the article, a few prices also went up and some of the offerings were altered. @ThorKat they took away your overpriced charcuterie so you won’t even have the option to share.

I mean, there was no way I was going to pay $4 for toast! But now that it is $3.99, I am totally there!

not!

Ohhh. I looked at the menu multiple times and couldn’t find it.

You know, it’s like showing the prices online for

wasn’t such a good idea

…uh… so the non-special one is more expensive. WTF?

Then get the chocolate!

The chocolate one says “waffle” and the other one says “waffles”…maybe you actually only get ONE in the chocolate case? I wonder how big these things are.

And me in my tin hat are thinking: this was their goal all along…

Well yeah, that should be the default move from the start. But that seems like it’s punishing the parents of children (who don’t like chocolate) for bad parenting.

…mmm maybe I’m ok with this after all? :smirk:

4inx4in most likely. It’s the kids menu one.

The Buttered Noodles are now $12.99 instead of $18. A Coca-Cola is $6.99 instead of $8 (it says it was $5 but I’m pretty sure I remember it being $8?). A little easier to swallow I guess. I still think a soda should be $5 max.

It’s kind of annoying that they added cents. Prices in dollars seem fancier. So adding cents seems like they’re nickel and diming guests, even if they’re really giving a penny discount, which — thanks?

Eggs, any style…$16.99. What kind of chickens are they using? I mean, I can buy a dozen eggs for like $1.39 at times. Even if I spring for the fancy organic, free-range chicken kind, I can buy a dozen for like $6. They really need to do a better job of describing what makes these things amazing compared to, say, McDonald’s.

I don’t know – they were mocked pretty hard. I can’t say I follow much Disney related social media but I didn’t see anyone excited to try the place we’d been waiting to open for more than a year. I really thought I’d be going for tea service in Dec but I’ve lost interest.

Fun fact: I tried googling recipes from CBS to compare them to well known bakers just to get an idea what the fuss was about. One of the pages I landed on was on FoodNetwork where the Indiana CBS was given 3 stars. That was the average from two reviews, one of which was a one star review from someone who was disappointed in the baked goods they had tried and a five star review from Gwen Rodgers – the owner of CBS.

Aww man I wish I looked at the prices this morning!

Still no word on the price for tea?

It’s kind of embarrassing that they repriced already. Though maybe all press is good press?

(Not that I want to discourage them from lowering prices or anything!)

I haven’t seen it listed on any of the menus for that location. Even at the Indiana locations they don’t have it every day.

The cake slices are still pricey, even with the price slash! I thought Yachtman’s chocolate cake slice at $16 was pricey!

ETA: For the record, Yachtman’s chocolate cake is divine! :yum:

Here’s my issue: I have to know the cake is fresh, too. There is a place in town that sells expensive slices of cake, but not enough of them for me to know it’s going to be worth the price.
