Actually, for @sanstitre_has_left_the_building, it is rather chipper.
I’m one of those people. I can sit in a crowded office and not hear a thing going on around me. Unless someone says my name, I don’t hear a word they’re saying. In fact, I need the background noise to concentrate. I need to filter something out otherwise my own brain talks too much.
I work at home, in my basement. Right now, I’m listening to the fan on my computer whir, the little faint ticking sound of the timer I have set to turn on/off my desk lamp, and my own keyboard/typing cutting through it all. I hear it all, all the time.
ETA: And the fan to my little heater under my desk just kicked on.
That’s exactly the kind of misophonia I have. Those little noises drive me insane. I have to have some kind of background noise to distract my brain from all those little unnatural noises.
Well, at least it’s small.
I don’t know what type of support to give you.
Will you be back in that store later? Can you wait until the end of the day to see if the want is still just as strong. Or. You can buy it and if you regret it later you can return it.
No. Don’t do it. At least not right now while it’s all cute and right in your face.
So here’s the situation.
I bought a sweater here in October. I was bullied into buying it by @juliamc. Anyhoo, I hated it and never wore it. They’ve agreed to take it back for a refund. With Julia’s AP discount and that refund, the Mickey is basically free.
I could then also give Flynn to Julia because she’s been bugging me about it ever since I bought him.
I did not bully you into the sweater, you joined into the chaos of everyone else wanting one.
And even if you don’t buy Mickey, I’m STILL stealing Flynn.
What, exactly, does one do with a $165 Mickey?
Do you people see what I have to put up with.
You could say that about any Disney merch. Like that crystal Pluto I bought in March for $350 before taxes and discounts.
Someone’s got to prop up Disney’s stock price.
True. We pretty much only buy Disney merch that we actually use/wear.
But you have art or ornaments in your home, right? My Pluto is on my desk and he makes me smile every day. The Mickey will be fun to play with here. And, like the Santa I bought at Epcot four years ago, he’ll make me smile every time I look at him.
Ew
no brainer. buy it.
We also have a nice heavy weight Mickey throw blanket, but I don’t have an easily accessible photo of it, that lays on the end of our bed.
What’s it like living in a Hame? I’m seriously considering it.
Might be a nice change.
That’s HA ME.
If you are being serious, you won’t understand the “HA” part.
