I am torn between the 7 nights on the Destiny (I
PR & would love to one day say I’ve seen St. Maarten) and also the 10 nights on the Fantasy bc I’m sure it has equally exciting ports and is 3 nights longer and I’ve yet to find a ceiling on my wanting to be on a ship. It’s always sad to leave.

See I knew that was important information for me to make my choice!

This. This gets my vote. That is an amazing itinerary.

Cuz I’m not rich LOL! One at a time I’m collecting the ships. (So the Magic, Dream and Wish are out)

Agree! This is going to be my vote as well.

Except…I am more about specific ships so the Fantasy would likely not be my choice. Nothing wrong with it, I just love what they are doing with the new ships more. I want this 10 day trip to these places, but on the Wish, Destiny, or Treasure.

I feel the same but my 'rents did a repositioning cruise from Europe after doing a longer Mediterranean cruise (I think it was 14 days and then another 10 days home or something) and they said they hit it while crossing the Atlantic and got bored. However, they were on a Viking ship so less to do on sea days, and they said the repositioning cruise was full of very old people (they are in their upper 60s and early 70s so I take this to mean maybe 80-90s) and weren’t very active. My parents are still pretty active.

Yes itinerary alone I agree and I agree I want to either try a new ship or knock out the Wonder before they pull it out of rotation she gets so old LOL
Also, that’s probably why they put the older ship on the more exciting itinerary (but I did love the Dream so I assumed I’d love the Fantasy)

I do prefer a lot of what they are doing on the newer ships too. Their atriums are just perfection. The lounges are fun. But the Fantasy has had the best food overall on any ship we’ve been on (maybe the Wonder came close to it) and it has midship detective and minigolf on top of fun waterslides and kids areas and the Fantasy in my opinion does have the best overall adult spaces as a whole (so the pool, Cove Cafe, and lounges). The Tube and La Piazza are so fun!

No kids, mine are 20 and 18 so officially adults but they don’t act like it so much, sheesh the week I’ve had with my daughter actually telling me she thought she had till June 31st to finish something for school?!?!

I can see where it’s that many sea days without fun entertainment that the novelty of being out on the water would wear off. But I absolutely love just looking at the ocean while cruising on it, so I don’t imagine it would be even within a month for me. And maybe I could actually read a book (or two or three) on that length of a voyage.

1000% yes, I love just sitting, reading, and the ocean passing by. The older I get the more and more I appreciate these kinds of vacations. We did Alaskan cruise when I was 23 and I loved the port days and mushing and all that but I didn’t like so much being on the ship and was bored. Now after “raising” two kids and managing two teams; I WANT boring!

Oy! Well good thing she has you in her corner to help her figure that out.
But then they can enjoy the adult areas with you too. I am sad that my kids are growing up, but one of the perks of that is that on our cruises they’ll be with us in the adult areas and at Palo. I am excited to share that with them. In good time. Eventually.

Yes, I am excited they can do adult areas now but I do miss when they were little too. You have to stop and appreciate each phase for what it is as much as possible but then I watch Disney movies like Cars by myself and I get that bittersweet feeling remembering how that was DS20’s first movie theater movie.
