Would this modify trick work?

For the same park, you just modify an existing FP. Again, you need to continue past the warnings, just don’t confirm the new time.

If you have an FP for a tier 1 ride, you will need to “modify” that one to see times for other tier 1 rides.

  • if you have TT, SE and MS and want to search for Soarin, you need to “modify” TT.

And it won’t show you times that overlap other FPs you still have.

  • if you have say Space at 2 and Splash at 3, and “modify” Splash to search for 7dmt, it won’t show you anything that overlaps the Space window.

But you couldn’t, for instance, have TT, SE, and MS, tap in at TT and see if it’s worth it to cancel SE and MS for Soarin’?

No - because SDD and TSMM are in the same park and the other “somethings” do not match the tier of TSMM, which is Tier 1 like SDD.

You cannot obtain any additional Tier 1 fastpasses in your first park of the day until you have expended or exhausted your Tier 2 fastpasses, at which point you can look for any attraction with your “rolling 4th”.

You could, however, book Spaceship Earth, and, as soon as you tap into it, immediately search for both SDD and TSMM fastpasses. Because SSE is in a different park from SDD and TSMM.

Interesting. While that’s a neat idea in theory, in reality are there any parks where you could get multiple tier 1 FP’s day-of?

You can quite often get a tier 1 same day - TT and Soarin, TSMM (pre TSL anyway, I don’t know what it’s going to be like), NRJ for starters.
