For one of our MK days, we plan to take the boat to Poly for lunch. I’m assuming we could take Kona To Go with us into Capt Cook’s to eat so we could have dishes from both menus?

I’ve been looking at menus the past couple of days. I, too, was doing it by park. I finally realized that once you are on a menu page, if you look towards the top left of the screen it will say something like WDW > Dining > _____ Park Dining > Restaurant > Menu. I made that particular sequence up and it may be slightly different, but you can click on the part that says _____ Park Dining and it will take you back to the list for just that park (or resort or whatever).

Oh Awesome! I think I tried it but it kept taking me back to the page where you have to click the individual parks. I’ll go back with a little more patience and see what happens. Thanks!

Today’s rando question. When we set DD20 up with her MDE way back in the day, we didn’t think ahead this far (adulthood!) and set it up with her nickname “Lori” rather than her legal name “Delores”.
It wasn’t an issue at all last year when she was DD18, and we are assuming it won’t be in June since we’ll be traveling largely as a pack.
But thinking ahead to when she might travel on her own and be making hotel reservations in her own name, how hard will it be to get her MDE name changed? Should we do that now? Should do something while we’re there in June? When we get back? Or so much hassle we should just set up a new one?
@MouseGirl42 recently shared some info on changing names in MDE. I bet she would be willing to help again here

So this is what “Optimize” gave me? We should rope drop Mexico? If I re-optimize right before we leave and it still says that, is it really what I should do? We plan to be there RD-3pm. Mainly accomplish these rides and graze.
I was assuming we should do something more like this?

I think the strategy with Mexico is that the line just to get into the pavilion gets long due to limited capacity.

We’re going to be there RD-3pm on 3 different days. I’m thinking RD a couple of the more major rides and then check wait times and just work 3 Caballeros in whenever it’s low? Will the wait times in lines reflect waiting to get into the pavilion or just for the ride itself?

I think the optimized plan gets you on Soarin at official park opening and you never have to worry about that massive Mexico line. I would optimize that morning to see what the plan tells you.
I would be willing to drop the Gran Fiesta tour if I moved it to where you have it. The attraction line might be 7 minutes but the line to get into the Pavilion could take much longer.

The line for the ride itself isn’t bad but the line for the pavilion is nuts and you’ll have to wait in both. I would ride Three Caballeros 2nd on the day you RD frozen if you’re going three days to EPC. I’ve got four days for EPC and I’m breaking it into four chunks. One day I’m RD TT then MS, One day I’m RD Soarin, LwtL and then Figment (which oddly has longer lines than Nemo) and one day I’m RD’ing FEA followed by Gran Fiesta

We’re just doing whatever lines look short whenever we are in EP. Also, I’m totally considering that all this will change about 2 weeks before the dates when WDW hours are extended from what they show now. I’m doing rough plans now but plan to re-optimize and re-evaluate once we get closer to the dates.

yup but most of the stuff I’m interested in isn’t even an option in TP (it’s an enhancement I’d love, the gardens, the topiaries and the food booths which really since they are pretty permanent at this point deserve a place in the dining options). So I’ve really hand written my plans to accommodate for what gardens, topiaries and food booths I plan to accomplish in the section of EPC I’m tackling each day.

Unfortunately the annoying trend for Epcot has been to just add hours to the end of the day, not the morning. With us having hoppers and staying at Poly I seriously considered just doing MK in the mornings and hopping to Epcot for the afternoons/evenings, especially since Epcot is a 1 or 2 on our first 4 park days, so lines would be short anyway.
