Planning a single day starting with Rope Drop at EP and ending with Fantasmic in HS. Planning to take the skyliner to park hop, but wondering how we’d get back to our car at the end of the night. Any chance WDW runs a bus from HS to EP? If we park at TTC and take the monorail to EP, is there a bus from HS to the TTC at the end of the day?
I would park at HS and ride the skyliner to Epcot then hop back to HS for the evening.
I agree ^^^^^^
I agree, but what are you going to Rope Drop? If you’re going for GotG this will put you at a disadvantage. But it would be perfect for Remy.
I had this exact scenario happen to me and we ended up driving between lots and not doing the Skyliner after all. (Actually we drove to CBR and had dinner at Sebastian’s, then went to HS).
This is my caveat as well. It’s a good plan unless you’re doing front of park rope dropping
In situations like this, I sometimes take one for the team; I will move the car, but let the rest of my group take the “fun way”.
I was going to suggest this!
Was planning to RD GotG, but can certainly change plans to RD Remy instead. Planning a kitchen sink between parks so definitely want to hop from the IG. Any thoughts of how much time to allow for the Skyliner from HS to EP for an IG RD?
I am not sure the Skyliner from DHS will put you in a good enough spot to make it worth it to rope drop Remy. All walkers will be in the front of the Skyliner crowds and all of the Pop/CBR/Riviera folks will be ahead of you. Did you rope dropped Remy from DHS @Jeff_AZ ?
I have never done this. I have RD Remy from Pop though and I imagine it has to be possible? Also I bet Remy RD is a little lighter than the last time I did it thanks to GotG opening to standby.
Ok I guess if you are both having to transfer and it wasn’t so bad then that could work!
I would park at HS and take the walking path to Epcot IG if the boat isn’t available. It would be quicker to walk anyhow. The Skyliner could be backed up in the morning.
If you leave on Jeff’s time, it will
But don’t be late

I agree. Skyliner takes like 30 minutes depending on how large the lines are at stop to transfer.
When are EE hours for both HS and EP? Like, parking at the parks don’t open until like an hour before park opening. (I think, but someone correct me if I’m wrong). You need to make sure you can actually park at HS to use this method. If they open at the same time, it’s not a big issue.
They usually do in my experience. I have seen HS open before EP though. I haven’t seen EP open before HS.
I would park hop by moving the car (instead of taking the Skyliner). Sometimes the most basic way is the best. If you want to ride the Skyliner, is there another time during your trip you can just go for a ride?
HS and EP have the same hours that day 9a-9p with EE at 8:30a. We probably won’t have EE.
Sounds like they want to go to Beaches & Cream between parks though.
What about parking at the Dolphin, rope dropping at the IG, Beaches & Cream and then take the car to DHS? And ride the Skyliner another day.
Or leave the car at the Dolphin, take the Skyliner to DHS after ice cream, and then walk / boat back to the Dolphin at the end of the night?
they want to go to Beaches & Cream between parks though
I have an easy solution for this … before or after the WDW trip, go to the grocery store and buy the same Edy’s ice cream served at Beaches & Cream instead of spending park time there
You can even buy whipped cream and do the “a whole can” thing at home.
I’m joking … personally I have never understood the Beaches & Cream thing, but I know others really like it.
Parking at the Dolphin is an interesting idea. I presume because they’e a convention center that they have per day parking? I know Disney doesn’t allow pool hopping, but do they allow parking hopping? Wondering if we have resort parking at Coronado if we could park at Beach Club to enter the IG in the morning, have lunch at B&C, and still get back to our car via boat from HS at the end of the night.
