Where to park for an EP-HS day

It’s the experience :woman_shrugging:

You will not be able to do that.

In order to park at a resort that is not where you are staying you need a reservation at a table service at the time you want to park.

No especially in the morning. You could have breakfast at A&C though and park at YC

I know it doesn’t work with your plan but I would move the car. I’ve had too many times that I was counting on a monorail or skyliner to get me back to my car and then at the end of the day it’s down.

Or if you are at Coronado maybe bus that day?

We are there 2 weeks ago and I can almost agree! Except for their ice cream liquor drinks!!! They are fabulous. I don’t know if you can get them at the window but my pinappe hard cider rainbow sherbet drink was to die for.

Walk?

We parked at HS to rope drop there.

Hopped to Epcot on the boat.

After the night time show walked back to HS parking to get the car.

The Dolphin does still allow parking though, correct? Probably because they charge for it.

Yes, I think that is probably the best central parking spot for this day. Especially if they are off-site anyway.

Are you staying at CSR? If so, just take the bus to your park of choice. Be at the bus stop at least 75 minutes before EE.

Me three.
I want my own car at the end of the night vs all that back and forth.

MDE chat with a CM told me the lots open 1 hour before EE

It works going HS>EP bc of the IG, but if you park at EP main gate and hop to HS via the IG you can’t get back through EP bc it closes at the same time as HS.

Bus runs at least an hour after park closes.

Bus from HS to Epcot, walk to car.

Epcot has been my bus change park of choice because where the bus drop off is and where the bus pick-up is for the resorts we mostly frequent are fairly close together.

The walkway from bus area to park entrance had changed when I was there in October. It was along the parking lot side of the monorail station instead of park side.

There is no bus from HS to Epcot.

I thought they had park to park buses after 10?

I believe they expect people to take the Skyliner or boat between EP and HS so they don’t run a bus unless there’s rain.

Exactly. That’s why I said park at the park you will be at last.

Boat

Sounds like a job for Minnie Van :heart_exclamation:

Makes sense. Boat is my preferred method because no transfer and the line doesn’t get as long.

This highlights the Epcot transportation problem pretty well. The front entrance and IG are two completely different locations. Expecting guests to be equally ok with one or the other is flawed reasoning. Not only because of the distance, but because the span between the two is impassable outside park hours (or without a ticket).

Why wouldn’t you just park at TTC like you originally planned?

You can just get a bus to the Polynesian from HS and then walk to the TTC lot from there.

You definitely want to enter Epcot from the front entrance and rope drop Guardians.
