I loved the I can get y’all in to Six Flags with a dollar and 5 coke cans! The six flags and blue bayou had coke can days. Wasn’t $1 but I think half price if you bought coke cans in.

I think the six flags in Chicago still does or very recently still did the coke cans.
Are you excited for the New Orleans property to be redone and reopened? You’ll need a police escort to get there safely, but it could be fun.

They keep talking about it. I doubt anything will ever happen. We went one time when Six Flags was open and our car, plus several others, got broken into. It’s a terrible location. The city needs to work on crime and living conditions in the east before they worry about who’s going to develop on the property. The city council needs to just let a private entity do what they want and stop being so greedy.
We occasionally go fishing in the Bayou Bienvenue marshes. We launch off of Paris Rd. and have a great bird’s eye view of the property. It’s deplorable. Last I heard was it was going to be a “shopping destination”. That will most certainly fail.

Matt Mitchell is from Walker County, Alabama not far from Birmingham. He is acting like multiple people. He is a state treasure in Alabama, my adopted state(I grew up in Georgia). My wife and I are Auburn grads and enjoy Dumbo. We even have friends who pull for Bama.

How do you juggle two distinctly opposing lives? As an LSU fan with family ties to Ole Miss, MS State AND Alabummer, I can’t see how you’d do it.

The older I get the less I care about sports. I still hope my tigers win but if they don’t it’s fine. I’m much more passionate about Disney, travel, spending time with my family and making memories with them.
