What will you miss most in EPCOT?

++++++++ This.

As some others have said, I really, REALLY miss Horizons.

I went to Disney for the first time in 1986 as an 8 year old. Ive wondered since whether I was a nerd that found his home at Epcot Center, or if the perfect park turned me into a nerd. Walter Cronkite’s narration in Spaceship Earth, the selecting of your future in Horizons, the outdoor ascension of the World of Motion’s omnimovers, having Johnny Bench critique my swing in the Wonders of Life, meeting Figment and Dreamfinder outside the Imagination Pavilion (Rainbow Tunnel!) and watching the diver swim through the tube into the tanks. I can still see them and it makes me sad they are gone. I’m hopeful that the new direction of Epcot will move my son in a similar way. This year was his first trip at age 5, and I must say while it is not the park I fell in love with, I was quite happy to hear him say Epcot was his favorite park and Spaceship Earth was his favorite ride.
