Has anyone seen a post like this? Looks to me like someone is advertising their product by joining every cruise group and pretending they’re a passenger.
Exactly that! My instincts were right.
Good call! I do not even really use Facebook anymore except for the cruise groups and some school/hockey groups.
On another note, my mother is getting into the cruise spirit and asked for a “fancy dinner” so I was able to book her Palo dinner with no problem!
I saw the same post on my Disney Fantasy FP page. I even looked it up on Amazon and put it on my list.
I don’t doubt a product like this could help but it is a rather shady business practice!
I agree. We’ve done two Disney cruise to the Caribbean and one Alaskan cruise on my honeymoon in 2001. Alaska was the only cruise I needed something. Taking DS27 this cruise since DH blew out his Achilles playing kickball two weeks ago with his coworkers on an intramural team. (Note to self: office workers over 45 should not be playing an elementary children’s game. LOL!)
Was going to get something for him just in case since he’s never cruised. DS14 was fine on the other two Disney cruises.
We are in three cruise sailing groups right now and haven’t seen this yet. BUT I know the one group that is for the next cruise coming up in September has been very proactive at screening & often posts reminders about people not posting any links at all whatsoever.
They had a little drama right after we joined with a YouTube vlog/influencer joining and promoting their channel and kept making new profiles to get into the group. I never did figure out which channel it was since I only saw aftermath posts but ever since then the admins of that page have been very happy to kick out anyone who posts after a warning.
There’s a “how to run a DCL group” group (because, of course there is). It seems to be an ongoing battle to keep these spammers out.
