What Can You Do When You Are Deeply, Madly, Truly In The Moment - A Land/Sea Trip Report

Kudos to the Guest Recovery team! I had scanned into Mission Space and as I was standing in line the dreaded announcement of “we have run into problems and your wait will be longer than anticipated”. I had no choice but to leave since there is no way to know when it will come back and my ADR is at 2 - and I figure Space220 Lounge dot have the wiggle room that some places do if you’re delayed on a ride

I went to the closest blue umbrella to ask if there was anything to to and she understood and gave me an anytime pass for Mission Space today!

While I wait on my lunch…

Meeting Moana was awesome! We bonded over sea turtles (my necklace is a sea turtle).

Lunch was YUM!

I had the P2OG cocktail, the sliders on a gluten-free bun cut in half, and my amazing server gave me an ice cream scoop since I’m treating this as a birthday trip.

If you are ever at Space220 Lounge (she may work the main restaurant too) and have Michelle as your server, she is amazing! She had them make the drink with Bacardi rather than the brand of rum it’s usually made with because the usual brand is made in a facility that also processes stuff with peanuts. I mean, that level of knowledge on the drinks is amazing! She also had them put the slider sauce on the side for dipping my fries - highly recommend. I think it is an aioli and I am usually NOT an aioli girl.

Came back to the resort to drop off my wine and rest for a little (did the feet up the wall thing midday) and I am glad I did - it is about to storm from the looks of things. I’ll head back out around 5/5:30 to finish up my Premier Pass, hopefully see the nighttime show, and then do After Hours at Epcot!

Was a little later to Epcot than planned because there was a huge thunderstorm I waited out.

Found out Mission Space Orange is going at half capacity so I tried Green for the first time. Still fun.

In LL for Remy now.

Waiting on the bus after After Hours. I wish someone would explain to me why there is a bus going to Hollywood Studios at midnight when it has been closed for a few hours.

I don’t know if Luminous happened or not. It got delayed and I got tired of waiting. I heard fireworks during Living With the Land, but I know they have to shoot them off when they are primed. Did Guardians twice - September and Everybody Wants To Rule The World. (I got Disco Inferno this morning,)

Overall I liked last night’s better - the snacks were easier to find and they were grab and go. This one was harder to find and you had to get them from a CM.

But… This moment made it all worth it…

Well…the system is not letting me upload so you’ll have to wait for it.

Tomorrow - well, wake up will come early. The hair needs to be washed and I want to hit Early Entry at AK. I’ll just pretend I’m back in my RunDisney days.

I feel like that’s worth the price of admission!

Was it random that he was there?

He was there when I went to Epcot after hours last week, too. I saw him as I was leaving around 12:50am and there were only two people waiting in front of me.

I had not seen an announcement but when I saw him I was like “Yes, please!”

Almost!! He’s a tiny bit smaller than Sohni…

Bakso at the toy.

Rhinos was good. We got to see Logan and Lola. The park was in lightning mode so it was all inside and no petting. But man was it good that we were inside because lightning hit somewhere VERY close so there was a HUGE crack of thunder - like LOUD! Logan took off to the other end/outside of the barn. That’s when they woke Lola up to see if visual contact with mom would settle Logan. It mostly did - she startled at the train though, which she almost never does since she has heard it from in utero. I get it though. The crack startled all of us!

They are working with the Species Survival Project to get another male to breed more babies.

Did my Avatar things and am having lunch now…

The rice is spicier than I remember!

About to dig into the Metkayina Mousse - it’s almost too pretty to eat!

Sheer luck and staying up until midnight at my 60+ 10 day. There was an odd-numbered party so I guess there was one slot. It’s limited to 14 people.

I thought it was limited to 12
But anyway I have tried for this for sooooooo many trips now! I was even beginning to wonder if it was still known to be actually running
