There used to be something though, if not an avatar. Definitely didn’t just float there on it’s own.
Yes. Seems to be only folks like yourself who have a default letter as your avatar. Research says this happens sometimes with this platform.
The way to avoid is is to upload a photo of your choice😉

Of note those whose avatars we can’t see seem to be able to see all avatars without issue

I just noticed I can’t see my own avatar next to my posts either. Or on the pill.
Oddly, I just noticed in 2 different threads, but both posters I saw issues with were first-time posters.

Same. Last night it was only LT for me. This morning it is very widespread

I checked software updates and I don’t see a new release but maybe TP just applied the August release?
I’m now seeing a question mark in a box under the notifications…… 
Do you try it with the same image every time? Maybe there’s something wrong with the image format? If you want to send me the file, I could look and see if I can find the issue.
No I just try various photos. I’ll need to try again and see what the error actually says.
