It’s DDs turn for a whirl wind trip, to celebrate turning 14 and going into high school.
Rented DVC points for Poly and it did not disappoint.
After being up at 2:30am, at airport by 4am, flight delay, flight landed around 11. We got to the hotel by 12:30. Dropped bags, had a quick lunch, and went to MK.
The day before I booked the new multi passes for each day. I booked everything for the afternoon and was curious to see availability after.
We had space, buzz, and haunted mansion lined up between 1-3. After tapping into space at 1:45 we got big thunder for 2:45, I was pleasantly surprised with the availability.
But first, going down main street with a bit of wind made it fun with the balloons!
For space, we were literally the only ones in the lightning lane. After space we were already hot, so got some frozen treats. I heard a little girl crying by the plaza ice cream parlour because her ice cream was melting. She was so little and cute but devastated.
Ours from sunshine terrace, no melting here!
We went to haunted mansion, breezed through lightning lane. On the days of genie +, lightning lane would be so backed up before even tapping in. So I guess they’re doing something right with the distribution?
Did 7DMT with lightning lane, the tea cups where her sole purpose was to try to make me sick
we watched Philiharmagic to cool off, then hiked over to big thunder. Every time I’m surprised but that coaster, it’s always better than what I remember.
By then she tells me she was actually awake since 1am because she was too excited to go back to sleep.
We had already done more than I thought we would on an arrival day, so back to the hotel where our room was ready!
Epcot day next, focused on surprising her with new (for us) character meets and outfits.
