We’re making today a special day…

MK day!

EE for tea cups :grinning: and waiting for Mirabel. Didn’t want to be rushing for rides, it’s a character morning!

MK morning highlights. For EE we did tea cups, didn’t want to stray too far from Mirabel. Then waited until she dropped the rope!

Next up, the four princesses. Less than 15min wait each.

Rapunzel was special and let DD play with their hair. We’ve have some not as tolerant, I’m so glad for this one.

Circus friends don’t open until 10, so we went on 7DMT, got pixie dusted, and did a photo shoot

Circus characters! Then grabbed a treat and took the train around to Tiana’s. Sure saved the feet.

For Tiana I had BG1 and a LL so we rode back to back. I still don’t like big drops.

Then BTMR, pirates LL, lunch, and haunted mansion LL.

Got the 1pm BG for Tron. Trudged over there and rode twice. I broke down a couple days earlier and bought the LL because I was worried I’d miss the BG. We rode in the front and that was amazing!

We had the perfect spot for the parade, but it was delayed. We headed back before the storm hit.

Very successful but exhausting! It was nice we were able to do tomorrow land earlier in the trip.

Her photograph book is so full :grinning:

It’s the BEST park! You just have to know how to do it and @LKriz knows the way.

I love your TRs @LKriz!!!

I wouldn’t say I don’t know how to do it. I’d be inclined to say it has very little I find interesting or entertaining. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I didn’t mean any offense. My standpoint was more that maybe it is a park anyone can enjoy if they find the right “stuff” for them (knowing that may not be the typical activities).

Better late than never update on our last day, her birthday at Hollywood studios.

Plan was to step out to get her breakfast and cupcakes, but she woke up before me for once!

At the bus stop the driver gave her one of these tokins :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Walking up, back of the pack EE.

Plan was to head for MMRR but it was down, line for the coaster too long so went to tower. Almost empty elevator! I think that made it more creepy for me!

First LL then for RNRC, where they told her she shares her birthday with her favourite ride.

We headed over and did SDD, then some character meets. She had no interest in Sully (one day I’ll meet him!!) but stood in a short wait for Joy!

MMRR still down, and I noticed throughout the day Rise also went down. It was a rough day for rides being down but we filled it up easily regardless.

We walked to Olaf and he was alllll alone, made it fun that it seemed like he was waiting just for us.

Took a spin on star tours, which I think is so underrated. Rise and MMRR still down, we were heading over to the muppets but she saw daisy and Donald together. In the longest line ever. She decided it would be worth it and skipped muppets. We waited about 3 rounds of them taking breaks. I got is slushies and refilled popcorn while we waited.

We made it juuuust before they did another change over (we would have been late for lunch otherwise). They were so interactive, danced with her, shook their tales, counted her age. Very cute!

Then her favourite meal at 50s prime time, she kept ratting me out for elbows on the table. reserved for 11am and were taken immediately. Food came out after maybe 10mins, or less, it was very quick.

Food soooo good and they immediately saw she enjoyed the theatrics so he scolded us plenty! Cousin Michael handed her the bill at the end.

I highly recommend an early lunch to avoid the lengthy waits.

I will need another post to cover off the afternoon!

After lunch rise was back up so we got to ride our LL. She got interrogated good for it being her birthday! Something about why would we celebrate the earth orbiting the sun another time when she has nothing to do with it, and her birthday is cancelled. First time we ever got some fun interrogation action here.

We then finally got to ride MMRR (got same day LL).

By this time I was feeling a bit hot and tired. We skipped by the muppets and frozen show, which would have been a good break but due to ride delays our day was becoming longer than planned (stamina issues for both of us, we don’t last long after lunch.)

We went on tower again, same elevator and the front which she loved.

Then rock and roller coaster again. Cue the headache mid way through the ride. It finally comes to an end, and we sit and wait, and wait, and wait. Finally lights on and they announced we’re being evacuated.

It was cool seeing it all indoors (no photos only because they didn’t want us tripping and falling). They confirmed the ride doesn’t stop upside down, but there was a car stuck at the top. Yikes to get walked down from there!

She was super glad our ride photo came through. I don’t like this coaster lol.

Used our free LL to go back on tower. That’s three times in one day, I was DONE. Rewarded ourselves with another slushy and popcorn.

Back to hotel just as the dark clouds came, in room when the downpour started.

And enjoyed the best cupcake I’ve ever had. Wow, expensive but this was amazing.

This was really a special birthday trip and everything went as planned but mostly even better. Great to spend some quality time in our favourite place.

Fireworks view from GF better than poly, otherwise I do think I’m finally a convert and will say I enjoyed Poly more than GF :grinning:

Up early the next day to fly home. And we just couldn’t leave without a Puah of course

Awww! I’m so glad you updated your report today. I hadn’t seen it before and I so enjoyed reading through it. Love your daughter’s Daisy purse! Glad she got a chance to meet her and Donald before you left. So many great moments and character interactions. I’ve never really been interested in Akershus before, but now I want to go! :joy:

I know the WDW cupcakes get a bad rap, but I had one from the Poly that was so good!
