And then there’s FL.
Honestly - I think driving from SC to NY is easier than SC to FL.

Shuttle and baggage fees are no joke. And I want to be able to drive directly from my driveway to the park and not have to wait for other people and transportation.
But I am NOT looking forward to the drive home whatsoever.

Yep. Actually it’s shockingly easy in TN for 14 year olds to get a hardship license.

He has a decent amount of interstate driving experience thanks to the drive to and from his school. But an hour was all I could handle. I’m a bit anxious.

We are. I did the mountain driving. But interstate driving in the rain at night was a bit much. And I forgot that he had never driven Lizzy’s car before. 
No stopping yet. The night shift nurse just downed a five hour energy and now she is behind the wheel!

$201 Pensacola to Orlando direct on Silver (which I’ve never heard of). $260 on American. Before there were direct flights, I would have to go through Atlanta and spend well over $300… The gas alone would come to $250 (at current prices).

So to catch up on our road trip. The drive through the mountains of TN was lovely. There was a bit of fog which looked cool. Not the best picture.
We drove into GA only to drive back into TN one mile later.
I’m jealous of her ability to sleep anywhere.

OMG - you’re doing the whole thing straight through? Well, I guess with 4 drivers and one used to night shifts, it might be possible. But even if someone else drove the whole way, I would go crazy being in a car for that long.
