None of this is convenient.

But thanks :+1:t4::laughing:

BTW - It’s been running every night like clockwork. I tracked it all weekend via social media and live streams. You’ll be fine!

Yeah… I try to be good & follow the rules. However, if I see an opportunity and it’s not gonna affect anyone else’s enjoyment of something I’ll take the advantage!

Also, if you are at the Hogwarts show you will not be allowed to backtrack into Hogsmeade. You’ll have to exit into Jurassic Park. You also can’t enter Hogsmeade from JP for the rest of the night about 30 minutes before the first castle show. It’s a one way exit from that area

They just told me this a couple of days ago… Just in case it’s useful for anyone:

The shows are playing through August 25, 2024. At this time we do not have the schedule for later July or August. I would recommend reaching back out closer to your visit so we can check the schedule again for you.

Thanks for the hints for the location. It’s my first time and I’m a little bit lost…

This is because of Halloween Horror Nights in that park starting August 30th. They won’t be running CineSational until HHN ends in November.

There’s no news if there will be a separate HHN themed lagoon show yet. :crossed_fingers: :crossed_fingers:

I’m a Universal Addict! I’ll talk about UOR all day!! I’ve got an AP and been 10 times in the last two years. My next trip is 72 days away for HHN! Can’t wait! Feel free to post or even DM any questions!!

Here’s the locations on the map. The red circle is the official area and the purple is the area with benches

That’s good info :+1:t4:

Thanks! I’ve watched the show & wanted to hop into Hagrid’s a couple minutes before park close. You have to sprint all the way around via the bridge near VC to get back to Hagrid’s! It’s a good distance. But… you get plenty of time to catch your breath while in the Hagrid’s queue!!

This is the main entrance to the viewing area:

This is where you will be. Anywhere that is not here is bad.

This is the entrance to the wheelchair section:

One question… Do you think it’s possible to watch the Hogwarts Castle show AND CineSational the same night? Like 8PM Hogwarts and then the 9PM at US (this will be in late August)

Yes. I did it in June. But the other way round. I did Cinesational at 9pm and Hogwarts Always at 10pm. I actually aimed to get to the earlier show but they have major crowd control and I went the wrong way and had to double-back and ended up only seeing the last minute of it. But I caught the final show no problem.

My advice. Arrive at the Cinesational viewing area at 8.15-8.30pm and pick your spot. After the show ends chill out and enjoy the music and wait for the crowds to clear. Then calmly walk over to Hogsmeade. You’ll be in good time for the 10pm show, which is less crowded than the one before it.

Absolutely.

If you hot foot it after Cinesational, you could even jump into the Hagrid line after watching HA, or even watch it from the Hagrid line if the line is long enough :+1:t3:

Thank you both. But the days I Will be going, IOA supposedly closes at 9PM, not 10PM.

Hogwarts Always starts at the o’clock hours? (8.00, 9.00, 10.00) Or does It has another timetable?

It starts around dusk and goes to at least park close time. I believe it’s like an 8 minute show with a 15 minute break and then repeats, and the theming varies with the four different houses.

Oh. That changes things then :confounded:

I don’t know how it works on a 9pm close, but for a 10pm close, the 4 show times were 8.55pm, 9.15pm, 9.35pm and 9.55pm.
