No, no, no. I think you have that backwards. We want as few of rides accepting UXP as possible! VC is fine without.
(But…it is hopeless…I don’t think UOR is going to listen to me on this one.)

I hope this is true and will make my visit in May SOOO much easier. If it were Hagrid’s it would be even better, but given that the line is always super long and the ride is still unreliable, I understand why they don’t do that.

Not by much, unless folks decide to do re-rides. That is, ride once with UXP, and then again in standby. That is where the standby line will end up growing longer.
If they label it a rumor, they may not have a source, other than other sites posting the rumor. If they don’t label it as a rumor, then they probably have a source.

Update: person checking into hard rock hotel last night said that upon check-in, the front desk told her that Velocicoaster would accept express pass today. Posted on disboards.
Looks very likely the rumor is true.
