I’m assuming it will be an individual plate, like last year at Confisco, as there’s no longer a buffet line at Circus McGurkus.
I’m getting worried that it looks like I won’t be able to go on my December trip. ![]()

Oh! I am so sorry to hear that! I thought it was slowly improving?
I’ve reached a plateau… I can walk for a mile or two before I have issues. However, if I sit for more than a few minutes I’m in pain that there’s no relief from. Once I feel that pain start I know my day is about to suck… I’m having a flare up yesterday / today so I’m not feeling optimistic about anything
I’m sorry @darkmite2. That really really sucks.
Oh no ![]()
I hope for some really swift improvement in November ![]()

I just got an email with the office offerings for the holidays.
I’m not getting notification e-mails from TP, and I only logged into the forums about ten minutes ago. I saw the post and declared a Level 1 Emergency. I couldn’t find details on the app so I went to the website, via a VPN, and then spent ages trying to find where to book. Eventually I found it and found a date and time I liked. Despite showing availability it kept giving me an error. But I persevered and . . . I have a Grinch breakfast booking. Yay ![]()
A travel agent posted all the holiday details… The last page has the tour details and breakfast offereings
The Macy’s Parade and Hogwarts Christmas show will be coming back. It also appears the typical offerings, like the Frog Choir & Celestina Warbeck seasonal shows and etc… are returning as well.
There was only one date with one time left that worked for my trip for the Holiday Tour! I’m so thankful for this group. I called my TA to make sure she hadn’t already booked it, and she didn’t even know bookings were open yet!
I was so excited about booking that I’m not even super sure what it is that I’ve booked and whether it’s value for money. I just saw the words Grinch and breakfast and two of my boxes were ticked.
I didn’t consider the holiday tour. I did it two years ago. It was fine: I enjoyed the easy access to the show. But they had pared it down from previous years (no free gift). The ride we got was Fallon, which I like, but that’s hardly a great bonus. They could have offered something better. I see now they’re offering the terrible Minions blaster thing, which has wait times of 8 seconds on crowd level 10 days. And the exclusive Hogwarts show was nice, but the lines for Butterbeer (which they could have given away as part of the package) were so long you either had to give up, or miss the show.
I don’t know what attraction this is ![]()
Is it near the super fun and totally awesome Villain Con Minion Blast?? ![]()

I have 4 kids, the idea of not having to scout spots for the Who-liday thing and the Hogwarts show, in addition to getting an exclusive meet and greet with the Grinch and Max, made it worth the price over the breakfast for my crew.
Oh, that totally makes sense. I’m just saying why I wouldn’t do it again.
The plus points were: great seating for the show, meet and greet with the Grinch, and decent viewing of the Hogwarts show. We got to meet Santa, too, which wasn’t a big deal for me, but your kids may have a different view!
It’s a one-and-done for me, but that doesn’t make it bad. Though there were things they could improve.
We don’t do Santa, so that won’t really matter to my kids. We probably won’t be back during the holidays again for a few years, so we may do it again, just like we always do the dessert party at MK. Or not, depends how good the shows are!
There are always improvements that can be made. Universal is just as guilty as Disney at the increasing costs while removing benefits thing.
Oof, I was briefly tempted by the Holiday tour (because of the Grinch/Max meet, and also because I don’t think we’re going to be able to catch both CineSational and the Hogwarts lights in the one night we’re there). Luckily/unluckily for me the rest of my family has absolutely zero interest in the Grinch so it was decided for me. ![]()
Central Park Crepes is getting into the Thanksgiving spirit! They’ve put their version of a “gobbler” sandwich on the menu.

And the brisket is back ![]()
