I thought this was interesting! Cash value vs. # of meals. I kinda like that idea. I hate being forced to “get my money’s worth” with the DDP (which is why I have never done it). I would prefer Disney go this route.

It seems that way. They’ve done dining card promos before during Mardi Gras. You get a gift card that works for food at all the parks & CityWalk
The only Mardi Gras ones I have done were the sampler lanyard for passholders.
Our plans for our upcoming trip have us staying offsite- with having APs and having to buy tickets it’s not worth switching plans this trip. But we will see what happens with our Stella Nova 2025 trip

I think it was 2022 when they had the food gift cards at Mardi Gras. It was great. I bought $450 worth and got and additional $240 worth of food. I used it most of the year for my trips as it didn’t expire.
I did a price check to see if I would get value out of this package versus renewing my AP. This package was $1500 with $500 in food versus $1000 for hotel & AP, but buying my meals. It’s almost the same, except I can return for more visits with the AP

Same- for us especially because we are not staying onsite this trip…
Our APs expire in October and I am waiting on the Epic ticket details especially after this weeks announcement that it will be included in a multi day ticket bundle…

Yes it’s a dining card loaded with credit. So you could either buy meals with it or just go to Bigfire and buy you and all you friends shots of Pappy.
