Universal Orlando News & Planning Thread

I know it’s a minor thing, but the Sneetches are back on the beach in Seuss Landing! I’ve always liked that little detail. Plus, when you ride the Seuss Trolley the narration talks about them being there. It was so awkward when they were gone! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’ve been seeing “Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts” on this list for a week or so…

Do you know if they’re referring to the new “Hogwarts Always” show by this older name or telling people the old show is gone??

Now, that all the vloggers have seen the new shows people aren’t talking about it as much…

I wondered that myself. It should have been removed when the new show was announced. :man_shrugging:

I blame myself! The last time I went was Grinchmas! I knew I should’ve gone in February and late April as I’ve done the last two years!!! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:  :shark: :shark:

Interesting. Slow down after revenge travel? Reflective of the economy? Backlash to ever escalating price increases? Random year?

I suspect mostly a combination of a slow down in revenge travel plus inflation resulting in tighter purse strings.

Probably all of those …plus…there may be some folks holding off on a trip until Epic opens, adding to the reasons.

It’s overall resorts so not just UOR. I just think they’re taking the hit before Epic opens.

That makes total sense. They set records the last two years, so a drop before opening a new park is reasonable. So many people, even my non-theme park friends have “heard something about a new Universal park”. A few have asked about detail s and are considering trying UOR/Epic.

IMHO - 2025 is going to be crazy busy for them. It’s a calm before the storm!! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I still feel guilt that I didn’t do my part and go more in Q1 & Q2!!

You really should. Idk what you were thinking :alien:

If Universal runs out of money before they finish building Epic, we know who to blame…

Am I remembering correctly that Grinchmas tickets went on sale last August? Or was it later?

October. Anything before that would just be the Holidays dates and details.

My notes say October 6, 2022 and October 19, 2023. I think there were some delays last year, so hopefully an early October announcement this year.

Thanks! I think because they needed an alternative plan it may have been delayed. It is the one thing we want to try to make up this year. We missed it last year when we had to rush DIL to the hospital.
