In the last two years of me going to HHN, they lock the gates at exactly 5pm. I’ve rushed through the nightmare crowds of the security hub at 4pm - 4:30pm on HHN nights trying to get there on time.
I’ve, literally, begged a TM to let me in at 5:05pm via the “Passholder Entrance” around the right side and behind of the Will Call booths with no success (even though no one but me & the security TM were there & I had tickets. No one would’ve known, but he did it “by the book”. )
They button down those entrances TIGHT until they do the “Opening Scareamony” at 6:30pm
And even if you’re inside the park by 5pm, if you’re not already inside one of the stay & scream areas before 5pm you cannot go backwards in the park to get to the one of your choosing… they will push you towards the front of the park and you will have to just go into whichever one you come to. For instance, if you are in Diagon Alley at 5pm they will most likely make you go into either the S&S by Lombards or the one by Louies.
The new parade starts today…in “tech rehearsals” even though UOR had it previously listed as “officially” starting today. The rumor is that a couple floats aren’t 100% ready.
However what is ready are the new interactive Bubble Wands! Each wand is set up with lights & sounds and can interact with each other, certain bubble vending carts, and specific floats in the Universal Mega Movie Parade.
White chocolate, to me, works well as a drizzle or coating, but not really as “chocolate”. I make white-chocolate-dipped gingersnap cookies around Christmastime that are delightful, and the white chocolate on it really elevates it.
But when you REALLY want chocolate…dark chocolate all the way!
White “chocolate” isn’t even chocolate. There are zero cocoa solids in it. It should be renamed Milk Candy or something like that … which sounds marginally more appetizing than garbage.
Edit to Add: My Great Aunt had a saying about certain foods (usually when offered a fat free dessert): “It’s not worth getting your mouth dirty”. I would put white chocolate in that category.
I was not apart of the pizza debate. White chocolate is yummy as is a good milk chocolate, dark chocolate can go away except in very specific situations/combinations, on it’s own
I can eat like 1 bite of white chocolate, 2 bites of milk chocolate, or maybe a handful of small dark chocolates… otherwise I’m with @Jeff_AZ that it needs to be a part of a bigger thing (like a candy bar with other ingredients). A box of valentine chocolates lasts me a month, easily.
Oh, but Lindt truffles… I don’t care what kind they are, I’ll eat a half dozen.
I’m kind of like that. I like dark chocolate, but I almost never eat JUST dark chocolate. I DO, however, eat dark chocolate-covered almonds daily! I love them so much.
White chocolate, to me, serves to enhance something else…adding a smooth creaminess to something, for example. The flavor itself is mild and I would never choose to eat it by itself.
