I watch UPNT this morning for their Mel’s review. They liked everything but the burgers / sandwiches. Those were back to being the usual “Mel’s” food instead of the good grilled burgers as at the Battery Park stand. It’s really a shame as the two burgers I had over there, Bloody Burger (HHN) and the “classic” (Grinchmas) were really good. (I loved the Bloody one!)
I guess I’ll stick to Wimpy’s when I want a burger!

I’m not going to believe it until after HHN 33. They use so much of that show building / queue ride area for haunts that it makes little sense to keep F&F open during HHN. Every year, for whichever haunt is in that area there is always a “break” in the middle where you have to exit the haunt, go back outside to “the real world” and wait for a TM “crossing guard” to allow you to proceed. There’s a gate entrance there that golf carts go back & forth through.
I’m hoping that this means they are going to be able to reroute the haunt path so that we don’t have to break immersion. It “kinda” worked at HHN 31 when it was two shorter haunts for Blumhouse (Black Phone & Freaky). However, it’s still a bit weird to pop back outside before proceeding. I’ve mentioned this in my HHN surveys. I’m hoping that this means they are listening and making changes!!

DreamWorks Land opening in summer!
My next/last AP trip is June 21-23ish… fingers crossed for AP previews or fully open land by then. It looks adorable and I love Shrek.

The last rumor going around was that they are trying to get it done within the next 60 days before schools get out in May!

There’s rumors the HHN house in there might be larger than previous years and necessistate closing the ride. Also rumors of a refurbishment, too.

That’s what I was thinking too! More than once, I’ve thought, “Oh! That was a quick run through!” before a TM crossing guard waves me across the path into the next section of the haunt. The very first time I encountered that I really thought we were finished and tried to exit through the gate where golf carts go by!

Can you really get resort cup refills at the pool bars? If so, is that a recent change?

Yes there are refill machines at The Hideaway and the Atomic Tonic/Grill. I know they were there 1 year ago. The ones near the Atomic Tonic are generic looking, different from the Freestyle machines.

I remember there being refill machines. We definitely used them when we ate at the pool bar restaurants, but the disposable cups sold at the restaurants were chipped for those machines.
I never saw anyone refilling a resort cup from them.
I always refilled my resort cup at the Bayliner.

Yes I do remember it working with the refillable mug. I used it once.
But I mostly filled up inside with an ICEE before going out to the pool.

You are correct! The resort cup will work at every Coke Freestyle station within that resort.
I’ve filled my Aventura cup at the pool area. They don’t want people going in & out while dripping wet.
