Thanks everyone!! It was a great day for my family! Coincidentally, our wedding anniversary is next Monday. Going forward it’ll be our “family” anniversary!
We had to go in front of a judge. They put my wife on the witness stand and asked formal questions like, “What’s your name? Are you married to Larry? When is your wedding anniversary?”
My wife froze on the stand about our anniversary date and blurted out “May”. The lawyer looked confused as that was wrong. I can see the wheels spinning in her head. So, I have to whisper loudly - “March! It’s next Monday!!” 
The whole courtroom got a giggle as I was doing the “tsk…tsk” finger point at her!!!
I was next… I started to silly walk up to the stand as I was excited to go up there like I was in a courtroom movie! The judge stopped me and said, “This is an uncontested adult adoption??” My lawyer confirmed it was so. The judge said, “We don’t need to go through all this…” He looked at me and said, “Do you want to adopt Emily?”
My reply, “Well… it’s been 18 years I guess I should keep her… I don’t think I could get a refund at this point Your Honor!”
I knew as soon as I said it that I was either in trouble or going to make everyone’s day!
The judge laughed so hard and said, “Alright, that works for me!”
The he asked Emily to stand up and said “Do you want to keep him?”
Emily was laughing and said, “Yes!” The judge hit the gavel and said “Done!”
We hugged & everyone applauded!
We took pictures after all the other cases were done. The judge was making himself available to take photos with people. He came over directly to me first and shook my hand saying “I can tell you are a really good dad and she loves you. Cases like yours are what make my day!”

Sadly, I work for a very conservative “good ole boys” engineering firm in Tennessee. I’d have to take a lot of guff and general BS about it at my office. I do my toes habitually, but I can only do my hands when on vacation if I don’t want to be tormented by my bosses & coworkers.
Memphis is a very liberal city, but in a VERY hardcore conservative state full of ignorant people.
I’ve lived around the world & keep coming back here because the cost of living is sooo cheap! However, IMHO, you have to put up ignorance, racism, sexism and generally “outdated” thinking on social issues.

Hey, a couple of UOR questions if you don’t mind.
We may be adding on a couple of days in December. We have only stayed at HRH but this time we want to minimize cost.
Do UOR shuttle busses accomodate ECVs they way Disney does?
Which of the 4 value resorts do you recommend for 2 people with ECVs?
Yes! It’s very easy. Every bus has this option.
There are only 2 “value” hotels. These are the Endless Summer Surfside & Dockside Resorts.
If all you want is a place to sleep then either of the Endless Summer Resorts are perfect. Plus, they are the cheapest. I would even consider a 2 room suite if you need to accommodate your EVCs. It’s not a “large” room, but has a dinning area near the entry that may be able to accommodate your EVC.
There are 3 moderates - Aventura, Sapphire Falls and Cabana Bay.
I find Sapphire Falls to be in the price range of the Premier resorts with the only benefit being the water taxi. However, it is a very nice resort with a quiet pool and fewer kids…
It’s no secret I love Aventura, but haven’t stayed in any suites or mobility accessible rooms. I’m not sure about how an EVC could fit…
Cabana Bay is a fun resort, but a LARGE campus. It kinda confusing to get around. However, it’s well themed and has a lot of activates for people that want to hang out at the hotel a lot.
I believe @Jeff_AZ stayed in an Aventura Suite recently and took pictures. Any advice Jeff? (I couldn’t find your TR!)

Can they fit 2 ECVs at a time?
Yes! Basically the entire middle of the buses, on the driver’s side, have seats that go up or down. They can lift up those seats and strap the EVCs in. I have, personally, seen 2 EVC on one bus many times
