We can get into the park at 5pm, so I’ll be there right at that time. Then from 6:30-8:30 we can ride as much as we want. I’ll be interested to see how many tickets they sold and how long the line is - Cosmic Rewind was almost a walk-on.
What type of preview are you doing? I have an AP and an APR so I might arrive early. Does your confirmation say 5pm? I received another email today but have been able to look at it yet!
It’s the D23 gold member event - I don’t have an AP. $50 included park admission at 5pm and then access to Tron later.
oops, I meant to say 6pm - not 5pm
Wow! Lucky! You will need to tell us all about it!
Posting this here for future reference.
I made it to Orlando with no issues today - so Tron on Friday.
Not only did I have no delays on my flights (miracle!) but we got close to walk on for Ratatouille - as it was down, and came back up as we were heading to La Crepiere. …then we went to Guardians and finally got I Ran. The last song we were missing.
I had I Ran the first 3 times I rode Guardians…when September finally came on on my 4th ride, my niece screamed she was so happy I finally got something different.

Scott Gustin in Twitter confirmed the GotG VQ will remain at least for now.
Interesting! I’m curious how that will work. I hope it does stay in place until my trip but I am skeptical.
Again they are explicitly saying you do not need to be in the park to join the virtual queue at 6pm. I hope this ends up being true. It will make planning much easier for me.
Yes. Hopefully it doesn’t mess up MDE. Yesterday wasn’t a good day and that was without changes.
They had to be testing something yesterday, MDE was a disaster.
The MDE app reported this morning that the ability to login is a problem right now and they are working to fix it.
It says you can only join a VQ once per day. I vaguely remember with GotG that I could get a second at the 6:00 for extended hours. Am I remembering correctly and should we assume the same would apply?
Also curious what will happen at MNSSHP and MVMCP evenings?
Yes that is how it has worked for GOTG
This is an interesting question as I believe this is the first time a new attraction like this has opened in MK in a hundred years and definitely since the advent of VQ
I was thinking the same thing. I am assuming there will still VQ in that time frame since the GOtG VQ is still going strong. Maybe same as what they would do for extended hours with a VQ sign up at 6 just for party attendees?
I guess the difference wouod that you dont have a park reservation for MK with just a party ticket.
