We’re planning on going to kennedy space center for one day in November. Staying at POFQ. Should we rent a car for the day or take an Uber? Or something else? If we rent a car should we use Disney car center? Thanks!

I found a gray line bus tour that picks up at the Swan at 7:10 AM. Has anyone ever done that? I think we would have to Uber from POFQ to Swan.

Many of the transportations companies that provide service to/from the MCO airport and the theme parks will also provide service to/from Kennedy.

I would 100% rent a car. It’s a straight drive to/from with not much in between, but there’s some interesting stuff near the center and in Cocoa. I have to imagine the price of a service to/from vs renting a car for a day has to be similar.

I’m team price it all out and go with whichever offers the best balance of convenience and cost.
A transportation company will be extremely convenient, but also probably more expensive. A rental car will be awesome flexibility, but you will have to get to the Disney Car Center (or at the airport). I’d price out rentals from the car center, MCO plus the cost of transportation to get to/from those locations and then also compare against the cost of a transportation company.
Then pick whichever feels like it best fits for you. For us, DH hates taking any kind of transportation on his own to get the car, so we tend to lean on getting the car from the airport when we arrive at MCO and we usually keep the car with us until we drive back for the flight home. And the times we don’t need a car for the whole trip, we get transportation in some form of a shuttle to where we need to go.

I did this last year. We used Tiffany Towncar. We always use them for airport pick ups. But we need car seats.

I believe the road to Kennedy from WDW has tolls! Check to see if they have gone cashless.
