True but how long would it have needed a VQ if such a thing had been around back then? I’m actually not sure. It would be a good case study. (I think a VQ is needed if a line regularly posts a wait in excess of ~2 hours. Or whatever FoP and SDD currently get by with.)
I suspect after a few months, Tiana will settle in with stand-by lines similar to 7DMT. Long, but not in need of a VQ.
Some news about the logs,
I saw that Imagineers were ride testing yesterday. I wonder what that means for the opening timeframe?
Is there hope for a May opening??? ![]()

Pleeeeeeease!
What do you mean by this?
There was a video of imagineers in a ride vehicle doing a full ride through of Tiana’s.
Yes, they did a ride through with actual humans. That must mean that it’s somewhat close to finished.
The pleeeeeease was my attempt at trying to get the universe to align the stars for it to be opened on my trip ![]()
Agreed! Come on late May people!!! ![]()

Yes this is what I was asking. Because people in a ride vehicle is new. Empty ride vehicle testing has been going on for a bit.
This sounds like progress!
You and me both kid!
What bout the west coast version? Is there any news on its opening date yet?
Sometimes it works! ![]()
I forgot about Tron (probably because I have no desire there) being VQ.
Unless they drop Tron or Guardians (PLEASE!!!) I wouldn’t think this will be. Have they ever tried to do 3 VQs at the same time? That would probably be too much for their systems.
It originally closed about 5 months after the WDW version, so I would expect it to be at least that far behind when it opens. They have announced “later in 2024.”
Yup that I saw…just hoping. Also disappointed both Haunted Mansion and Pooh are closed when I go in May. That’s a significant chunk of tier 1 and 2 rides down for this thing. I assume it’s the walkways and such they are going to be working out b/w Pooh and Tiana.
YOu deleted so I guess you found it. I just use the Daily Events Schedule:

and Touringplans list:

I’m mostly sad because I’m bringing a brand-new Disney newbie with me and for them to not ride Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain or Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and then the icing on the cake throwing in Pooh (which is still one of my kid’s favorites) is disappointing. One major ride is understandable at any given time but two plus a great dark ride that makes Disney is a bit much to be missing for a first timer. I hope there are future visits for her so she can one day see them!
I realized after I posted that you were referring to Disneyland and not WDW. That was my confusion.
