Gorgeous room!

Looks familiar. We were in the 1-bedroom last week!

ETA: Weird. Our room didn’t have the extended counter on the island with the stools. Was your room a dedicated 2-bedroom? Maybe they only do that for dedicated 2-bedrooms.

See that adventureland print, if you don’t mind, steal it and mail it to me :joy::joy::joy: jj

How many people in your party and what are the other resorts?
We’re off the Cancun for a long weekend but I always enjoy your pictures!

I was going to say this room looks smaller than the 2BR I had back in 2021. Maybe it depends on the curvature of the building.

I love the refurb though!

The rooms on the outer curve are larger than the ones facing inward, which are very rectangular. After discovering that I make sure to request the outer curve (something like odd vs even numbered rooms)

Yes, this would be outer curve. The living room is actually huge.

And if anyone sees this red backpack tomorrow at Magic Kingdom Saturday in Hollywood Studios, Sunday in Disney Springs Monday in Epcot or Tuesday in Animal Kingdom please say hi

I can’t tell you how much I love the refurb. The previous design sucked. Now I like this resort. It feels so much warmer and the art. Yaaasss

We had dinner at steakhouse 71 which I thought was good. The steak was really good. The mac & cheese is really good. The pork belly with cheese grits, and egg appetizer was really good as was the brioche bread. We had a very friendly waiter who spent almost the entire night chatting with us about movies, dear son‘s friend is studying RTF so very into movies. It was a very Disney experience.

And girl that jungle cruise print is huge. That wouldn’t be conspicuous at all to take lol. It’s like maybe 5 feet long and 3 feet tall.

The living rooms have a different layout depending whether they’re on the outer side of the “C” (monorail side) or inner side (Bay Lake).

On the outer side, the window end of the room is wider, so the kitchen end is narrower.

On the inner side, the kitchen end is wider. The kitchens there have an island, plus they have a full laundry room with drying racks rather than a cupboard.

Sounds like you were on the outer side of the “C”.

If the lighting were better in the room, it MIGHT be possible (if your phone has a good enough camera) to take a quality photo, and print it somewhat enlarged so that you have a version of it for your house. I doubt it will ever turn out as well as just stealing it off the wall…err…I mean…buying it from the art kiosk.

The prints we ordered are currently in transit now, so hopefully we’ll have them in a few days!!!
