This happened for me in March as well. Expired LL was taken and MEP was left.
I got MEPs from TSM and TBA as both seemed to be breaking down a lot. TBA was a good gamble for MEP, especially since it was easy to modify or get a new LL for TBA on a drop.
I swear Disney knew what they were doing when they made LL bookings early. Itâs so temping to buy it in anticipation but I really donât think I will need it in mid May with CL 5s.
Thatâs the problem- you canât decide when you get there because by that point itâs too late to get anything good. I think I would always get it though (I assume itâs around $25) then because I hate lines and itâs starting to get quite hot then too and you may want to minimize outdoor waits.
Exactly. Iâm definitely buying ILL for ROTR, FOP & GOTG and I will probably break down and buy LL the day they release. Itâs just so nice to know you donât have lines but on the other hand I donât want to be on a timed schedule.
Will someone give me the best strategy for HS, itâs a CL6 tomorrow last minute decision to consider lightning lanes (oops)?
I have a kid that hates TOT but will want to do all tier one rides.
So Iâd say SDD - TSM - ??? but those both have drops which makes me doubt this strategy. I will also be using BG1.
I havenât used the new system yet but you will probably just have to do a lot of refreshing until you get what you want and maybe try looking into how to do âzombie stackingâ so that you can get the tier ones.
For two slots, I would get the best advance options you can for your highest priority rides, drops or not. For the third slot, get an LL as early in the day as possible so you can unlock tiers. Try modifying this periodically to see if you can get a better attraction and/or earlier time.
When youâre there tomorrow, try to make use of the drops to get better times and better attractions. Then just churn through as you use each LL. Hopefully you can get all the major rides.
So my sister is heading to WDW as part of her daughterâs cheer competition later this week. Well, it turns out that they donât get their room reservation number until they check in at the cheer competition! So even though they are staying onsite at All-Star Sports, they can only make their reservations 3 days in advance as if they were staying offsite.
Thought it was worth mentioning this here. This is similar to the issue with packages, where people can only start booking LLs once they get their reservation number for the package. Is that 5 days in advance? Canât remember.
Wow! Thatâs up to the organization I guess. They get the numbers in advance. It probably takes a little bit of work to get the numbers out to the right people. We always got ours a few weeks in advance. I do remember in FP+ days we were still behind the pack in booking FPs.
