Thanks for the data point.
I’ll add one: I tapped into MMRR 9 mins early (by accident) and it turned blue. CM’s let me in anyway.

Do you remember if you also had an MEP in your possession?
You’re there now right? So this week? No MEP?
Yes, this week. No MEP. Thanks!
Definitely did not have a MEP.
Thank you both!
do they ever drop same day single lightning lanes?
Yes, I was able to grab a same day LLSP for Rise. Drop times for that ride are 10:47 & 3:47 if it has been running reliably. Thanks to @popupcamper for the intel on Lines!
Thank you. My daughter is there now and she decided she wanted to get one for Rise. This information is perfect
And the mystery continues!
Most of the advice I’ve seen about booking LLMP and LLSP at 7 days out says to book the later dates of the trip first. This doesn’t make sense to me since those will be the easiest times to get. For example, I want Tron on March 22 and can book tomorrow. It’s already sold out for March 20, so wouldn’t I want to try and snag that first? Am I missing something with this strategy? I haven’t been to Disney world since 2016 and the planning is SO DIFFERENT!
I book in chronological order 99% of the time. The only times I will go out of order is if I am banking on a VERY hard to get LL at a harder to get time. Then I might prioritize that one. A minute might count on a day of drop. But I’m not sure that is as true with pre-booking. Everyone’s method is different though.
The reason for the strategy is that people are writing off the days where everything is likely sold out and trying to get the first day where booking right at 8am will pay dividends. If you are watching the trends leading up to your day, you’re doing it right. For the most part, it won’t make a huge difference. There are just 3-4 rides that will be selling out for the morning quickly at day 9-10. Those might be the ones you want to focus on if morning is important for you. Otherwise chronological works fine.
This makes sense. Thanks!
I book HS first because SDD and Rise can be such a pain to get.
I don’t think that is good advice.
Generally, I go with chronological order with some adjustments depends on which days I’m going to certain parts and my expected park arrival time. HS usually gets pushed up toward the top of my list, especially if I want early LLs. Days at any park where I’m ok with late LLs get pushed farther to the bottom. AK lowest priority. It’s a balance.
Also, sometime it makes sense to book only 1 LL for a day initially, then move to another day or days, and then come back later and book your last 2 LLs for the day you originally only booked 1 LL. I’ve done that for MK where I book TBA right away and then book my two tier 2 LLs after booking other parks/days.
This is an important factor to help you create your booking order.
If this question has been covered in another post, I apologize. Trying to keep up .
For the pre-booking, can you have multiple-people on different devices using the same MDE trying to book all of these at 7 days?
ETA:
In the good ole’ days, using the same MDE, one of us was able to book the Genie+ LL, while the other booked the ILL both @ 7AM day of.
I heard a recent podcast say this could cause trouble checking out. They suggested people to work on different days on the other devices.
It worked for DW and me last fall.
EDIT: I misread your post the first time. DW and I used different MDE accounts (at the same time) to book. I would not use the same MDE account to book at the time. Is there a reason you can’t use 2 MDE accounts?
It didn’t work for me and wife last Aug. I think it’s truly hit or miss.
