The Lightning Lane Thread! All WDW Info Here

I have only had this happen once at Indy. And that as several, several years ago.

It’s one of the only ways to find and verify them! Someone has to do the dirty work. :muscle:

Really pay attention to the time listed on your LLMP for a show. Often that window stops 5 or 10 minutes before the show, and they switch to just standby only. We learned the hard way, that if you show up after that window but before the show starts, they can make you go to the end of the standby line where you take your chances on getting in.

Sorry but does LM refer t individual LL? And MEP refer to mutipass LL? Thanks!

The typical abbreviation we use is LLMP or MP but some people (cough @drvillarejos lol) use LM to refer to Lightning Lane Multipass.

MEP refers to a “multi-experience pass” or an Anytime Pass that is good for one of a selection of rides without scheduling (like you get when a ride is down).

On chat it is almost always still LL.

You’re lucky I ain’t calling it just LL and messing everyone up :joy::joy: My brain still says FP :flushed:

LL for Lightning Lane generically but when you have to differentiate between SP or MP that’s when the other letters come in. Usually it doesn’t matter.

I am going to watch chat. I believe the only time a P is added there is to identify Premier Pass. What would you say that abbreviation is?

This morning there is one LLMp and one LLMP, so I guess we are all over the place with this.

LLMP, LLSP, and LLPP… This is the way.
(We old folks get confused so easily otherwise.)

I use those three unless I am using LL for overall.

Same!

FYI: Overlap restrictions don’t apply to LLSP. I wasn’t sure, but when I booked mine today, even though they had >20 mins overlap to an LLMP booking, there was no problem.

@Jeff_AZ is this worth adding to the LLSP section of post 1?

Added. Thanks!

It makes sense to me that chat would truncate abbreviations more since people are writing more on the go and the interface is less conducive to long posts.

On the forum, I usually see:

… but I’ve seen lots of variations. And usually “LL” is sufficient. i.e., “Next I booked an LL for WtP.” etc. Clear from context without the MP.

That’s how my brain works too. Since you can’t get an MP and an SP for the same ride, LL should indicate what I’m talking about. When I said LM I probably mean LL or MP and not in fact Little Mermaid. Life is too short to type all 4 letters :sunglasses: And proof read apparently.

I think this needs an update, offsite guests can now buy LLPP also. Prebooking windows are the same as for LLMP. Not that I would buy it, but DSIL may be a last minute add and looking for options for her.

I checked and I’m able to buy LLPP as an offsite guest with for length of (dated) ticket.

Yep I need to update this- thanks for the reminder!

It might be different for LLSP, but I tapped into FOP exactly 10 minutes early on Monday and it definitely turned green with no CM intervention.
