Anyone know if BG1 is still working for VQ?

Yes, it still works for VQs.

Thanks for the confirmation @PrincipalTinker

Blows my mind. It sold out pretty early in the day when I was there

I’m wondering if being across from 7D helps with demand?

It would explain long lines, but why is it the top tier 2 to sell out? Crazy.

Need some advice please… Tomorrow my plan was to use my LLSP for guardians and get a morning vq so we can ride twice. But my kids also want to do Tiana’s. I’ve already purchased guardians for 1025 so my plan was to go earlier to do VQ then LL. Then go to MK after and try to get a Tiana LL during one of the drops.

I was also going to purchase the LLMP to be able to try for Tiana. But the question is do I need to choose 3 rides at MK? Or can I just choose a random one so I have access to book more?

Or do I buy the LLMP for Epcot and do a throw away ride there to start the ball rolling?

In the scenario where I purchase the MP for MK (and only pick one random ride) do I have to use that one before booking more? Do I need to have checked into MK to book more? Or can I book same day without doing anything since I’ll have 2 slots open?

What would be the best way to approach this? Thanks!

Very. I’d think the top T2 would be Buzz, HM or Pirates. I don’t know why it’s Pooh, unless the proximity to the LLSP (T0?) is the main indicator?

If I were you I would just stick with your original plan and be at MK in time to get Tiana’s at the 1pm drop. Any reason this wouldn’t work?

Good, everyone grab WtP! Leave the rest to the others
I don’t mind the line. And yes, I’ll go play with the little kids while we wait.

Because Pooh and his friends are the wisest and most relatable characters in all of Disney, of course…

WtP is part of TP MK Advance Picks Example #1.

I could imagine using this plan, namely EE RD Tomorrowland, then use a Pooh LL to unlock day of.

I agree! My son is 32. When he was little we had WtP books, VHS tapes, and a tv show (was it on Disney?). Those stories are exactly like the WtP ride at MK. We are able to relive a beloved childhood/family memory. Isn’t that what Disney is trying to capture with all of its new IP based attractions?

The standby line for Pooh is the exact place where one of our MK days went off the rails.

Pooh is the very attraction at which I abandoned my trip report, partly out of embarrassment :joy: :joy: :joy:

Exactly!
There is a Pooh character that portrays each person in our family. We read all of the stories together when the kids were little and watched all of the videos and they still make us laugh. Every year at New Years, we still watch “A Very Merry Pooh Year” together.
Riding this attraction brings back all of those lovely innocent childhood memories.

Quick VQ question for GOTG-
Our group of 14 got a BG but some would like to ride early and some later-
Will there be any problems tapping if we split up

Nope! You can each tap in individually whenever you want all day after your BG is called.

Just one quirky caveat: Don’t apply for the 1pm VQ for GotG. It’s unnecessary and will overwrite the existing BG, and may cause you to have to wait later until it is called, whereas the 7am one will be valid all day. (You can apply for any other attraction VQ without issue, if you are eligible.)

So to update
(We got BG1)

Friends just tapped in (1:20 pm) and were spoken to about being late.
They were still let through though

Was this a stern speaking to? Or just a “ha ha you’re a little late!” in jest?

The former would be highly unusual. The latter happens from time to time. Usually the CM doesn’t say a word.

I didn’t ride but my hubby reports that he made references about “we usually only give you and hour and a half to return and if you try to ride Tron they won’t let you on”

He describes it as a “stern talking to” about the VQ rules :joy:
