This is no longer true. A few months ago they removed the restrictions on Tron. I’ll just interpret this as the CM trying to make sure your DH didn’t get in trouble at Tron, but has outdated info.

I got this one time when I was 10 hours late for GotG :joy:

Oh no! Sorry about that. Tbh, we don’t ride WtP every trip. It’s a fun and nostalgic ride but I can take it or leave it. So I also won’t prioritize a prebooked LL fir it- especially since we don’t RD.
I love the WtP stories and characters. DH gets a little queasy on the ride.

All that bouncing up and down at the end made me feel really gross. That ride is a never again for me.

After it stopped bouncing, we were trapped in the black light section forever when the ride went down. I could see the end because we were so close to freedom but they got us last and escorted us out.

It was awful. So weird. Someone was totally on drugs when designing that one.

Starting to put together a plan for a one day trip visiting AK, MK, and EP [in that order]
Is it even remotely possible to buy a LLSP for 7DMT and Tron then VQ for Guardians and Tiana and have the times actually work out?

Ideally I would

  • AK: Rope Drop FOP then Everest [Standby/LL?]
  • MK: Tiana [LLMP/VQ], 7DMT [LLSP], Tron [LLSP]
  • EP: Guardians [VQ], Soarin [LL/Standby]
[If time worked out and we were way ahead of schedule, we’d bounce to HS if there was a mid day drop of either RNRC or ToT]

I’m still trying to work through how to balance AK earlier opening time with where to book LL. [First park earlier unlock / second park better initial availability]

It’s possible but schedule will be tight.

If you buy LLMP, all 3 LL pre-books must be in same park. If you want, TBA, you’d probably need the 3 to be in MK. Not sure if you’d be booking 3 or 7 days out, but at 3+1, I’m not sure you’d get TBA between 10-12 which is when you’d be in MK as you’d need to be in EP by 1PM for GOG VQ which would have a RT closer to 5-7PM even if you were in first 1PM BG.

You could try for 7AM TBA VQ but I would be afraid if you show up 3-4 hours late what they might say. Others have said no big deal though.

Soarin at EP later in day is NO issue. LL times always avail close to actual time. As long as Soarin is a Tier 1, no problem.

Depending upon when you book, again, LLSP options should be avail but getting the times you need may be tough.

You could always try MK on a Tue or Fri which are party nights and it opens at 8AM.

Others may have some thoughts as well.

Everyone has their own comfort level with drops. But for me I would count on the fact that I could get TBA on a drop. I would schedule my MPLLs in AK to unlock tiers and park hopping early on. I would join the 7am VQ for GotG. If you are in MK for the 1pm VQ of TBA, go for it. Never know how quick they could be called. Or you could hit Epcot and then back to MK to use that VQ.

OK, so I am trying to decipher thrill data maps on LL availability here. But I am trying to build out a hypothetical day in EP. We would be coming in on the Skyliner into the IG entrance. So, in my mind, it would make sense to have bought a GotG LLSP and LLMP a Remy Tier 1 in my advance window for first ride of the morning which for my fam would probably be around 9:00-9:15A. At Tap-In i should try to get a FEA for later in the day? I would also think it wise to have secured let’s say a couple of G2s like Land and Nemo in advance. Logic would be that we could pick up Soarin’ at the Land Tap In. Then as we tap-in to these capture Journey, TTwC, SE, etc… We don’t care for MS very much so that is skipped and of course TT is down for us in November. I guess my concern is will FEA be available at tap-in at the 9:15A hour? It looks like there is availability typically ending from 9:30A to 10:00A range.

Here it is lined out:
Arrive with a Remy around 9:00A and at tap-in try to grab a FEA
Kick off The Land, Nemo, TTwC, Figment and get a Soarin’ during these tap-ins along with SE
Have a LLSP for GotG and maybe a VQ as well in the pocket
Grab a another Remy in a drop if possible

Sprinkle food and fun around this schedule. Shouldn’t be much backtracking. Seem doable? Am I missing something?

This is going to be the hardest part of your plan – getting a 9am Remy. Unless your Epcot day is later in your trip, you may only find availability for 10am or beyond.

For example, here is what the future availability looks like now:

image

9am Remy is only available on September 5th (7+6).

Instead, I would do one of the following:

  • Get a different ride for 9am if one is available, tap in, and try to get FEA. Get Remy for whenever you want.
  • Rope Drop Remy and make your Tier 1 LL for FEA instead
  • Make your Tier 1 LL for FEA and try to pick up Remy at a “drop” (see pinned Advanced thread in La Cava for more info)

If you are Rope Dropping, I think Remy is a great choice. You can often hit both Remy and FEA during EE and then you might not need an MEP at all. :man_shrugging:

Great advice. EP will be in our advance window with a leading rez. But we could totally do something else and then try to get some Tier 1s. And then grab the drop for Remy later. Thank you! Good insight. Now to figure out MK. We have two days that are parties so not so much an issue. And AK shouldn’t really be too complicated. But the full EP day and full MK day will take some planning.

So, from a booking perspective, I hate this.

I’m a Disney AP, I can only book 3 days in Advance. or 7 days for length of stay if on-site.

I have a split stay that includes, on-site, off-site, on-site

So no matter what, I would have to wake up at 7 am to book the leftovers if I wanted LL.

I booked this morning for Sept 1. That was fine, starting at Epcot, booked Frozen. (Will Rope Drop Remy…normally would not get LL for Epcot but I wanted to try this out)

But my next booking window now is not until 3 days before each day of the off-site portion. (6 nights) (…and while I’m on a cruise)

This is where just having regular park tickets are favoured now - as my mom has a 14 day ticket (the UK one) It will let her book 7 days in advance for on-site for length of stay …and then when in looked at her date for booking the next MPLL - she can book Length of TICKET starting on the 28th (her ticket start date is the 30th) …so for the overseas people complaining about not being allowed to book - you will still get an advantage.

Meanwhile, I’m screwed out of good choices because I am an AP. If you’re going to make me book at 7 am regardless - give me back day of booking.

Advice please!
I did my LL today, got all the rides we wanted but need to tweak the times.
For HS I got MMRR for 1005
TSMM for 1155
And a LLSP for Rise at 1035.

I’m wanting to try and get TSMM closer to 9 and Rise closer to 930.

Do you think that if I tweak Rise down to 930 before I am able to get TSMM down to 9 that the system will let me still try and get TSMM to 9?

Will a LLSP interfere with getting an earlier time for a LLMP?

Thanks all!

LLSP can overlap with MP and won’t prevent you from modifying to the same window. Good luck!

Travelling with a larger group, each doing their own thing in the AM but meeting up in the PM. Currently linked in MDE but not in the same hotel room and not buying LLMP together.

Will one party booking AK and the other MK for the AM cause issues? What about after first tap in for getting LL #4?
We could delink in MDE but then the PM becomes challenging for syncing plans.

No. You do not need to make any changes in MDE to do things independently. I’ve travelled multiple times with people I’m linked to - but we did different things.

Only had once where they accidentally booked me into an LL.

Agreed. Stay linked. Just make sure when you purchase LLs or join a VQ that you only select the people that are actually joining for that activity, otherwise you may block them from getting what they want.

Is there a reason you quoted the entire lead post? Not sure if there is an edit or question or comment in there?
